The level of care here is awful. They do not clean bed bound patients correctly, they allow them to lay soaked in their own urine all night. They give full carb meals with cake to type 1 diabetics. When confronted about the meals we were told “this is what we have” We expressed our concerns to nurses, managers and case workers and our words fell upon deaf ears. Your loved one is just a paycheck to the people who work here. They act like your concerns are valid with no follow through ensuring your loved one is cared for properly. I am deeply concerned about the well being of the patients who don’t have anyone advocating for them. I don’t understand how they’re still in business. Our loved ones deserve better than the Health Center at Standifer Place.Review from Emmett W.

My brother was there it’s SUPPOSED to be a skilled nursing facility. My brother got a bed sore which should not happen at a skilled nursing facility. It got infected and they waited too long to transport him to a hospital. When he arrived at the hospital he had a104 temperature and they also found he had pneumonia. The wound was sepsis. His saturation levels were extremely low. The icu started him on a broad spectrum of antibiotics and debriefed the wound all they tried was to no avail. He had gotten to the hospital too late. The hospital icu recommended hospice care. So after discussing it with nurses we said ok. He was admitted to a hospice facility and he died at approximately 12:20am on Friday. I would not send anyone there if II had a choice,, which I did not. Everyone beware. Wish I had lived close enough to keep a check on him.
