    I was advised by ********** to contact a Diamond Certified Company. I called Charles Stone. They sent a technician to my house. The technician determined that i would need a warrantied part there office would order to complete the repair. The part came in, the technician returned. He came in my door, not holding any part and said he "would not be able to fix" my ********** mini-split unit as soon as he came in the door. I told him there was no reason for him to be at my house if that was the case and that i did not want to charged a lot of money and not receive any service he stated "Oh, you are not being charged for this visit" fast forward a month and i receive an almost $200 bill. I have talked to a representative of this company at least 5 times on the phone with no understanding that i should not be charged for services i did not receive. I can understand and will pay a $75.00 service call fee, which is the price of service call on the invoice i received, but the additional charges are not necessary. This is the short story, its ridiculous, and the part of this interaction that i am not describing, is the denying of service advised by a Mitsubishi tech, and any excuse to not honor a warranty.

    Charles Stone was contacted by *** ****** on 10-22-24, for a service call regarding his mini split system. After inspection the wheel could not be removed from system and was seized up. Charles Stone let *** ****** know we can get replacement parts under warranty and would be glad to replace motor, and wheel would have to disassemble system and cut motor from wheel. On 12-2-24 we received parts and contacted *** ****** to schedule an appointment. ON 12-5-24 we arrived at *** ******** residence with parts on site, client refused us from working on system because there was going to be labor cost involved with installing new parts. Our service manager spoke with *** ****** on the situation while techs were on site he still refused service. The service manager has also tried to contact *** ****** on several occasions about the service call and time we have spent on his system. There was a bill that included a 75.00 service call and 112.50 for labor. On our second trip out involved two service techs to be able to get work done. *** ****** was aware that we were coming to his residence to do repairs and did not decline services before we arrived at his residence. We are unable to collect a debt from *** **** ****** at this time.

    Our thermostat fired itself, right before the first freeze of the year. Called their number, and josh got back to me quickly. He came right out, and installed a new thermostat very fast. He was knowledgeable, courteous, and quick! All at a very good price! I would highly recommend them!

    Nephew called Charles Stone to come out and work on Mom's AC because she is 89 years old and not able to understand anymore what is going on. Anyway on Monday 22nd of July my nephew called them to come out because Mom AC was down. I have the phone records where he called and them returning his call to setup the appointment. Since someone has to be there due to moms condition they said that they would called my nephew when they would be coming out so he could arrange to be their but that never happened. Days went by and no one called so I reach out to my nephew and had him to call again but they were busy and could not come out until Saturday which is considered after hours and charge mom $275 for a $20 switch. With that said they came out two previous time with the last month...first they replace a part but did not check the freon and had to come back a second time. Have your heard of nickel and dime you to death. Las mom is 89 and sit in the heat for 6 days...not a good or trustworthy company

    Travis, a plumber for Charles Stone Mechanical, fixed my kitchen sink today. He was polite, professional, fast, and the bill was very reasonable. I highly recommend Charles Stone Mechanical and plan on using them from now on!
