We hired WPRS on July 28, 2022, to do the construction work on our home renovation. Things started off fine, or so we thought. **** ****** wanted a large deposit, but we thought was normal, so we agreed and paid it. Within two weeks, or an 8-week project, things had slowed down and he was asking for more money. His one employee could not be left without supervision as he did not know what he was doing. **** himself screwed up everything electrical he touched. When it became clear that we were not handing any more money over to him as we had given him enough for the project to be completed, and he hadn't provided us a single invoice or receipt of where our money had gone, work came to a screeching halt. Some things that we had set aside, maple beams I had stained for a project, he purposefully cut to a height rendering them unusable for the project. He destroyed our home, left it a mess and took tens of thousands of dollars from us. I have since discovered he does not have a contractor's license. We want the money he took from us back since he did not pay a single subcontractor what he said he would. **** is a conman. We recognize we didn't do our due diligence by looking more into his credentials, but that does not give him the right to take $50,000 from us and leave us with nothing a destroyed house and bills to pay to cabinets, flooring, counters & tilers. And in the end, he didn't even secure walls and ceilings properly. The bench seat he built in the master shower wasn't even set properly. The solid core door for the added power room was not cut straight and he tried to fill in with wood filler. The fireplace heart started lifting almost immediately because 1. there was no proper care of the wall behind it, and 2. he started building on top of it before the mortar had cured. Nothing he did was right. And when asked, he refused to show us receipts for what was purchased.

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/10/10) */ Contact Name and Title: **** ****** owner Contact Phone: XXXXXXXXXX Contact Email: ****************@gmail.com Good morning, I am responding to a project that the company sold for a kitchen/bathroom remodel. All materials where purchased for this project. Sub-contracted flooring that got done. Painting of selected rooms to professional standards on both projects. Had cabinetry ordered and paid up to last payment. With add-ons from project. I had enough to finish. The bathroom was going to be tiled from a contractor from ***** installation team. We as a company demoed, framed, stonework, electrical, and hung Sheetrock. The transactions from project was check. The extra amount owed on last payment plus money received from client of 2250$. Would of got project completed by sub-contractors. Our client/contractor relationship did not blossom into being pleasant. I fair warned customer could be 6-8 weeks until completion. We were ready to finish and client wrote me and told me that our relationship was over. We had all our work inspected by an electrical contractor. We needed to do some re-work and finish up projects in the next 3-5 weeks for project finish, they breached contract when receiving other project bids as in countertops, tile, and 2nd level work. I have all receipts and transactions from project. I left and now I have moved on to 3 other projects I have completed. Wprs construction ****
