I bought my vehicle in May if 2022. I still havent gotten my tags/ registration for the vehicle. I have attempted multiple times to resolve the issue with the dealership, but they keep giving me the run around. They are not returning phone calls. The loan company who also doesnt have the title to the car havent been successful in reaching the dealership to resolve the issue either. I have been on a drive out tag since May of 2022 and have been unable to get a vehicle to exchange or been offered to get this fixed. I am currently making car payments on a car without a clear title. I also put an 11000$ down payment on the vehicle when it was purchased.Initial Complaint

I purchased a 2013 Chevrolet Sonic 5 months ago from the Beaman Ford dealership in *******, **. I have yet to receive my permanent license plate. I have made multiple calls and have been told they are working on it. I want the car properly registered and my license plate sent to me so insurance will stop telling me they are going to drop me because I haven't registered the car in my name. 5 months is long enough to complete paperwork unless something is wrong with the title.Initial Complaint

On March 19 I bought my 2018 explorer used from Beaman Dealership in *******, **. That experience was great, the sales guy was awesome. The issue from that point on has to do with my tags. Since March 19 I have had to drive to the dealership and get new temp tags from them because they kept expiring. I understand paperwork issues and 3rd party issues occur, so I did not mind at first. But after the 3rd month into the 4th month it started to get annoying. I have called into the dealership so many times I have lost count requesting an updates, you will NEVER get a call back. ******* will blame the main office in *********, the ********* office will blame the 3rd party they use to process the tags, the 3rd party will blame COVID as the reason. The whole time this is going on I have to drive up there with my kid and use my gas to get tags I should have already been issued. I have never once been offered gas coupon or anything for my troubles, when you get there they act like you are the problem taking time out of their day to issue a new tag so you do not get a ticket from the police. Now the last time I was there the guy had to get another guy to over ride the system because it would not print anymore temp tags on my VIN because so many were issued. Once again i tried and tried to get emails sent to general manager ect and NEVER once called back. Now we are moving to IN for my husbands work and I cannot get my car tags in IN because of this issue here in **. I need help now please, dont know where else to turn to at this point.Business response

I have experienced horrible customer service at Beaman Ford in *******, after they sold me a vehicle. First, I called about the registration paperwork for the vehicle 4-5 times to clarify when the paperwork would be sent to the state of TN in order to get my commercial license plate. I drive the truck for a living and can't work unless the commercial tags are on the vehicle, at least I can't work without the possibility of receiving a fine. The staff at Beaman gave me an attitude about asking where the paperwork was after I left several messages to get a call back. The final answer was "the paperwork is at our downtown office" with no number to call of assistance on the problem. Secondly, and more concerning is that I purchased a *** **** from them as well as a lifetime warranty. After driving the vehicle for a couple weeks I realized that the DEF was not working. According to the mechanic at Beaman Ford the system has been deleted and or unhooked. This could cause problems with emissions standards in certain counties and states. When asked if that would void my warranty, I was not given a straight answer from the service team, the ladies at the front desk, the Salesman "*****", or the management team, who still have not called me back after the salesman informed me they would. They also have not returned my messages, just like the last experience.Initial Complaint

After driving my new Ford ******** 7 weeks, the check engine light came on. I took it to Beaman Ford in *******, TN. They've had my truck 24 days with no solution. The service manager told me they couldn't look at my truck until May 10th. On May 10th I called and was put on hold 3 times. Finally I got cut off...I called Ford Customer Care and I got lots of, "I'm so sorry" and "I understand your frustration" but not one single solution. The rep even called the dealer with me on the line; I got cut off again. I need my truck. I want my truck. But all I'm getting is a run around. They've put me in a giant gas guzzling Hemi truck that's costing me $** per day to drive. My ******** is a hybrid that cost me $** per week to drive. Between the ******** payments and the extra gas for the rental truck, I'm spending $**** a month for a truck I can't use or get help with. Please help me! Thank you.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/05/17) */ We have already met with this customer and resolved his issue. It was actually resolved on the 12th of May and the vehicle released back to the owner Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2022/05/17) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) On May 4th I met with *****, the district service manager. He was aggravated that my new truck Nad sat 16 days with no diagnostic tests ran. He ran it while I waited at the dealership. He came back and told me the diagnostic test showed a problem with a computer module. He said they'd need to trace the wiring to the module to isolate the issue. On May 12th I got a call saying, "We fixed your truck and it is ready for you to pick up." When I arrived at the dealership, I was told, "We couldn't find anything wrong." My question that never got answered is, "Why did you tell me, "Your truck is fixed"...if you couldn't find anything wrong. The second issue that predated the check engine light and the Ford Pass app notifying me that "the truck was experiencing a mechanical issue" is the First Edition decals are torn, full of air bubbles, and missing pieces was not fixed. A service desk employee told me they had failed to order them. I took the truck in in early March for this issue. It has not been fixed. So, I'm driving a brand new vehicle with faulty decals and an engine issue that could not be found or fixed by the Ford Service Department at Beaman Ford.Initial Complaint

Took vehicle into service department for Oil Change on 02/18/2022. Picked up vehicle and noticed oil spots in driveway. Brought vehicle back to service department who said nothing was loose but the tech forgot to clean up oil from change. Truck still leaking oil although I have never had an oil spot in driveway until this service. I have asked service manager to contact me several time with no return call. Service was $166, so requesting refund or new filter and inspection that nothing was broken during service.Business response
