******! Our experience with Regency homebuilders was Awful! From the design studio to the building process, we had multiple issues that made us regret our decision to build with regency. The design studio girls are rude and think they can control your build! Additionally, our builder we worked with showed no interest in making the build a smooth and enjoyable process.Throughout the construction process, we ran into countless issues. Holes in roof decking, the outside of our home being painted the wrong color, not wiring for lights on the outside of the home, and installing the incorrect lighting package inside the home. Regency allows its sub contractors to leave food/trash in the yard and home throughout the build. The issues were resolved but took multiple emails and calls to be addressed. Even being told by the design studio that it was Regency's decision how issues were address not ours, although we were the ones paying for OUR home to be built. Lastly,we have over 80 lots in our community and only 7 plans available. Drive through any of Regency's communities and you will see they all look cookie cutter as they build the same 7-8 home plans over and over.

I asked the builder to slant my driveway towards the ally road next to house. He agreed. Grade was above street level by a foot. Builder said we just need to see if house would fit on lot. Ok let me know. Came back to foundation dug down below street level. Dirt was pushed out to allow foundation to be level. Driveway was slanted opposite direction down into garage and towards back porch. Had already paid for upgrades or I would have walked away. ******* said he would put drain in from driveway to front yard and did. ***** finished after several repaint of interior and several adjustment to front door which you could see light through was finally replaced. Window put in crooked, air vents in crooked. Steps unfinished several restrain and seal. Front porch! Had a crack less than 1/8 inch and about 4 foot long and notified regency. Less then 1/8 is cosmetic. Ok but its first week and I say to them you dug the house down below street grade and didn't compact the dirt. This will be a problem for me in the future. I put in a pool in the back yard. No regency integrity is key here for you. You said because I put a pool in the back yard that was a issue. No drain from the pool goes to anything but a clean out and the water grade goes to your builder installed drain. I have two down spot you installed on the side of house that go between houses. I have made no changes to any landscaping to the front at all! I challenge you to put your text and mine on this. Lets see how you responded. Make sure your text is what you send. This will let all know the integrity of regency. Release your notes from my file. From beginning I bought in 2015. Its now 2023 Im complying my front porch is cracked 1/2 inch and 1/3 inch uneven. Not 3 feet but all across in pie shape and in about 8 different directions, truth now not all is 1/8 gap. I look forward to your response and Ill release exactly the same text I have from you and emails. Lets see your integrity!

I would not suggest anyone contract Regency to be their first choice for homeownership. My husband and I are new owners and we've been in our home for 1 year. Upon moving into our home, the measurements for the laundry room were incorrect and it took them 3 months to correct it. Shortly after that, the garbage disposal clogged in which I thought was an error on my part, but there was something they forgot to install that caused the problem. We had to have the plumbing company come out for months because the guest bathroom toilet kept clogging. There are so many things that have transpired, but the major one is a leak in our roof. They only allow you to communicate through email and for the past months, I've had to contact them to get this resolved. It's still not fixed. Because we're no longer a priority, our issues aren't important enough. Find you a company that values their work and work ethic, as well as your time and money so that you can be happy with your investment.

Hi ********, we're sorry you feel this way. We dove into your complaints and found that all known issues have been resolved within the best of our abilities. According to our communications, the original roof leak was repaired and in correctly working condition on April 11th. The only outstanding item we could find is the leak you reported 3 days ago, which is in process of being resolved. While we understand your frustration, up to this point, we have done our best to work with you guys to ensure that any questions in quality are addressed at no cost to you. If you are not satisfied and would like to set up a meeting with our ownership, we will be glad to schedule one with you. You can call us at *****************************.

While Regency's model homes are beautiful and appealing, and the exterior of their homes may draw you in, a new build will likely not result in the same high quality end result, and will not be without facing multiple issues with the company. Various times throughout the process we were misled by comments and verbal commitments. If you push back and try to hold them accountable whatsoever, they have no issue deploying intimidation and scare tactics such as cease and desist letters. The quality of the home they specifically built for us is subpar at best and they are terrible to deal with. From my experience, they do not care about their customers whatsoever, it is all about money to them. If you do decide to become a customer of ******************, I urge you to thoroughly do your research in all aspects of building a new home and what you should ask/cover/ensure, etc. as they only protect and care about themselves, and if this results in s******* over their customers -- oh well! As others have mentioned, once you've bought the house, they completely wipe their hands of you. Buyers beware!

I am so ready for this process to be over. My close date has been pushed back so many times its really ridiculous. I just completed my final walk through today for my home and the disturbing part is, that the house is a new built but it looks as if someone has already lived there. I literally dont have any emotion left to give to them because honestly its disappointment after disappointment. Im glad that Ive read the reviews from everyone else to make sure that my stuff is taken care of and that it will be added to the contract to get addressed after closing. So thankful that we have lawyers on standby waiting on them to try and play me. Why would you guys let someone move into a house with no mirrors?? Stains on the walls, holes in the walls, holes in the ceilings?? Get this, my outdoor fireplace has to be repaired because they forgot to hook the gas line on the outside. Imagine building, laying concrete, and boom.. you didnt hook up the gas line to even turn the freaking thing on so now you just have a fire place. At this point their reputation is hanging by a thread. Its quite embarrassing to be honest because Im going to ensure that everyone I come across knows what to expect with regency.. I gave 2 stars because my realtor and the builder are nice even after my complaints. Im not sure if the builder needs a new team or what but their work is questionable. I just dont understand where the disconnect is. I can paint better than these people. A lot of the issues are common sense in my opinion. Like why would you give a house that is in this condition? And regency please dont get under my post lying because I took photos and videos that I will gladly post.
