The dollar general in Grantsburg wi doesn't not grant coupons that they have posted. The night manger was very rude. They still didn't take the in store coupon down after it was expiredReview from Martha H.

Horrible store. Dirty bathrooms, possibly never cleaned. No handles on refrigerators, so sliced my finger trying to open door. Rude and mean cashier with name tag Ashley. Unhelpful employees on floor(women no name tag). Saw cockroaches at counter in front.Review from nikita b

i went here 1 nite within the past 2 weeks and had to call cops, the cashier was messing with me at the check out and the superior Asian girl got involved, they were negative, the cashier said she was from ****** and call me names and other race slurs. the cashier said she was going to steal my cash. she didnt want to serve me and told the sup to do the same.Dollar General Response

I bought a phone and a Prepaid card for an amount of money, the problem is that when I try to activate the phone there is no plan for the amount they sold me, the phone company (****) has plans for larger amounts and not the one they sold me. They sold it to me, when I went to buy it the person who helped me told me that if it worked with that amount purchased on the prepaid card, when I exhausted all means to register that card without being successful, I went to the store and they The manager answered who immediately told me that they did not accept returns, I told her, I don't want to return it, I want to activate it like you told me, which she refused, after arguing that it couldn't be activated, she tried and couldn't either, so she sent me to an **** office or call the C.S. so I went and they told me that it couldn't be activated because those cards that the Dollar General sold me were obsolete. This was at the Dollar General in Weslaco Tx. Store #12127 So I spent on a phone that is not activated forcing me to spend more than I need. Terrible customer service.Review from Shawn R

2324 Decker Blvd, Columbia, SC 29206-2322 Dollar General Twice, the Dollar General at this address took the customer before me and laughed at me when I would not wait. On 1/18/25, the tall African lady laughed and said, "He big mad." I don't think she was racist because I am white, and both times she did this, the customers were black. I just think she should not be working with the public. This happened again on the 18th around 8 pm. I am thinking about getting a lawyer to subpoena the CCTV footage and let the courts figure it out. I called their corporate number, and they said their district manager would contact me within 24 hours, but they never reached back.Dollar General Response

Dollar General has got to use the self checkouts. They are getting busier and register clerks can't keep up. The stores don't have enough room for long lines. I don't even stop anymore if I see more than a couple cars in the parking lot. I loved when I could go in and get what I needed and get out using self checkout. Please bring them back. Our store close to my house is the cleanest around and I'm starting to see where the associates are always stuck at the register. They can't keep things stocked and tidy when always at the register. I understand shop lifting is at a all time high. We can't do anything about that cause we are too scared to stop people that are stealing. We should make examples of the people stealing. I know I don't mind confronting someone I've seen taken something. I'll make it known to anyone I see stealing. Please don't make your everyday shoppers suffer from a few bad eggs. This store has prices on the shelf that are lower then what they ring up as. The Management said they can not honor the shelf price because it's against their company policy.Dollar General Response

The store does not have ****** ********** or ebt in their store and to be quite honest they've embarrassed me in front of other customers. The female manager not only made me feel like crap to the point I left the store crying. I didn't ask to be poor and disabled. In fact I have a bachelors degree in criminal justice! I did everything right but ended up disabled! So I'm really sick of being treated like crap because of it. I will NEVER shop at another DG because of this!Dollar General Response

Dollar General in Creston Ohio I have called the headquarters four times to make complaints flo that works there in the mornings and older lady is rude she has ripped cards out of peoples hands called my husband a ***** told my autistic son to shut the * up. I’ve seen people cuss her out she is worst and rudest nothing is done if she’s smoking she’ll tell you to wait. Today me and 14 yr old went there for him to get game card he had his money folded in half she stared at it and with attitude said REALLY! It hurt my son‘s feelings and embarrassed him. I told her everyone in this town is tired of her being rude and reminded her of everything she’s done and of course, she kept denying it.
