Jeremy was a life changer! He was extremely helpful and understanding! I was able to place my mother in assisted living while waiting for VA benefits to kick in and have now paid the loan back in full!!!

ElderLife Financial did a great job in working out the best solution for our parents with a very limited estate. They were truly partners working with us for the best outcome to help our elderly parents move to an assisted living facility. A special thanks to Jeremy for his hard work and making it happen after many calls, texts and emails some over the weekend! We highly recommend ElderLife to help you at a very stressful time. It’s horrible when a family member requires extra care and need to reach out for financial help. My father had to be admitted to an assisted living facility last year and was referred to ElderLife to obtain the funds to pay for his care until his veteran benefits kicked in (took 5 month). This company does not assist to help extend out the balance once VA benefits are approved they expect by a certain time … no extension. Fortunately we were able to get the balance paid in full before the due date, they require it paid in 15 months from the origination date. Now we paid the balance with a credit card and was charged a 3% fee because a credit card was being used and also it was not handled in house because the company out sources of payments are made with a credit card. The company will absolutely not waive the fee. I would not recommend this service if assistance is needed to get benefits for a family member. I was told that my child's credit score would not be affected if they acted as a guarantee on a "bridge loan". My credit score is low due to job loss and maxing out my credit cards. No respect for the previous 35+ years of very good credit, but that is a flaw in the credit score system and not really relevant here. I was told several times that my child's credit score would not be affected as long as we did not default on the loan. My child did not believe this, so they called on their own. They were told that their credit score would be impacted. So now my child thinks I lied to them which is NOT the case. This has caused a rift in the family which is very painful for both of us. Lying to a 71 year old senior citizen is very disgusting and has created a problem in our family which I really don't need. Stay away from this organization.ElderLife Financial Services, LLC Response
