            This summer 06/2022 I researched and spoke with Huntington learning about tutoring services for my young daughter. After paying for a $200 assessment you and then told to meet with the location manager. She let me know that at Huntington you pay for the amount of hours your child needs in a lump sum of money. (Over 5,000) that no other payment t arrangements were applicable. After letting her know I was not able to qualify for the loan and lender they provide she offered me a monthly arrangement via text from the store number. When we get to our first session she gives me a different number (literally double her original monthly price she sent me via text) over $800 when I was told it would be $420. I told her I'm sorry I couldn't do that right away and she the. Insisted I pay for the session that was scheduled for the day because her teacher was already there(. $145) This business is extremely dishonest and predatory. After this first session I reached out about what to do and how to arrange and she would basically just not respond. I was literally taken advantage of. I feel like when she realized I was t going to go a loan she got what instant payments she could put of me. Literally to make money.

Our academic evaluation is $195 and that covers a 3+ hour supervised test as well as the meeting with the director. We think there is a lot of value in the evaluation in that it pinpoints the specific academic skill levels for your child so we can determine what to focus on and what does not need attention. Our program is prescriptive based on those results. I promise it is never our intent to be predatory in anyway. We are in the business of helping children and families meet their academic goals. I apologize for any misunderstanding that took place here and invite you to reach out to me directly to discuss it further. I am the owner and started the center in 2004.
