I am seeking a refund for mobile bartending services for my wedding that had to be canceled original wedding date 11/7/21 due to my husband suffering several ******* & still in the hospital & has been in the hospital since 10/27/21-present. initially the 1st reschedule was for 1/2/22 then my husband suffered another ****** on ************ *** 2021, so we rescheduled the wedding for 11/13/22 and my husband has suffered a 3rd & 4th ****** as of March & May with 11/13/22 being canceled indefinitely as of 4/1/22, with my wedding planner reaching out to this + all my vendors on each reschedule and final cancelation with my Mom taking over the task. Per the contract/Invoice with the vendor the total for services was $*** with half for the deposit $****** being non-refundable. I paid the nonrefundable deposit on 2/22/21 via ****** & 3 more ****** installments on 3/17/21 $100, 5/29/21 $****** & 6/11/21 $******, I am requesting a refund for the remaining $******. I have contacted ***** the owner regarding this with her response & email thread will be attached. She mentions in her email response: "ask for remaining balance 7/14 ***s prior to event date to insure nothing like this happens." Attached email thread from Nov 2020-Present, Invoice & Receipts. I cannot dispute with ****** since payment disputes is past their deadline of 180 days. She accepted advanced payment in full and never stated at any point in time that any advanced payments would become "nonrefundable" nor did she decline the payments nor did she ever state via phone that supplies for the event was ever purchased until now. I am owed the remaining balance of $******, due to my above facts stated and also to mention that it is very unprofessional for a company to come back when a customer is requesting a refund & saying in so many words I am penalizing you for paying your balance off in advanced, I would hope she & all companies would want their clients/customers to pay them in full & in advanced.

    Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 11, 2022/07/13) */ To whom it may concern. The following accusations were handled accordingly. The following persons booked a wedding package with me and rescheduled 2/3 times before officially cancelling. I have spoken with Said persons and her mother and after communicating with the wedding coordinator, and many other vendors who all agree that after a year of rescheduling multiple times a refund request was not acceptable. Multiple items were purchased in preparation for this day MULTIPLE times. I do apologize for any inconvenience. Have a blessed day. Consumer Response /* (3000, 13, 2022/07/18) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) I do not accept the response as I'm going by her invoice which she's stated is her contract & nowhere in the invoice does it not state a refund is not possible (less the deposit) so I am owed half. At no point did she state to myself nor to my Mom this info & left this ongoing for weeks and we had to keep contacting her. Be professional and honor your invoice/contract. Unforeseen occurrences happen all the time in life and with planning which all email correspondence I provided. "If" "you" purchased supplies where are the supplies for the alcohol for my wedding because in essence "I" purchased supplies that I never received and I would like either a refund or my alcohol for 150 people then which was outlined in the invoice the quantity: Beer- 5 Boxes (24 per box) Wine- 1 box (12 bottles) Champagne- 1 box (12 bottles) Thank you, Have a good day
