I would like to express the mistakes that I made when do business with jones .On October 10th of 2024 I purchased a used 2013 ***** s60 t5 sedan. The price was only $8,000. After taxes and dealer fees the car was almost $10,000. The salespeople seemed upfront and honest. I was verbally told that it was a solid car with no issues. Trusting them was my first mistake. My second mistake was not realizing how high the dealer fees were and I did not purchase the warranty. I had a limited amount of money. After having the car for 10 days, it began lurching upon takeoff. Having this experience with ****** in the past, I changed out the o2 sensor. This solved the lurching problem. About a week later the car started to lose power on exceleration. Then I used a code reader to find that there was a misfire in cylinder 5. This prompted me to change the spark plugs and coils. After the repair the problem still procesed. The next step was to replace the fuel injectors. This did not correct the problem. At this point I ran a compression test on the engine. Cylinder 5 showed zero compression. This is where I needed help. After talking to a few macanics the concesses was that the car was not worth the cost of the repairs. I have already spent over a thousand dollars in repairs. Putting me in for over $11,000 for this car. So I emailed Jones hoping for some compassion. This was my third mistake. I was offered $1,000 as trade in value. I do not know finances for the average family. I do know that a $10,000 lost will negatively affect my family in everything from Christmass, to birthdays, to daily meals.I realize that Jones has no legal obligation to help. I also realize that their actions shows poor business practices and a low sense of community and morality. Be very careful when dealing with Jones auto. They are out only for themselves.Review from Johnny J

My wife and I went shopping for a newer van at this dealership. We found a 2023 ***************** after owning a 2017 Pacifica. We were not in our van the day we agreed to buy the new one, but worked out a deal on trade for ours, to bring it the next day. The one requirement I had for trading our van was to swap our existing wheels onto the new van.Our existing wheels had personal, sentimental, and family attachment, and also had brand new tires. We were told that would not be a problem if we were willing to finance the new van. We told them we would agree to finance, but stated multiple times we wanted to keep our wheels. On arrival the next day with our van, the staff stalled and waited nearly an hour to even wait on us. Then they left to get our van and tell us they were swapping the wheels. After a few minutes Hunter ***, one of the sales managers informed us he could not swap the wheels, and that he was already losing money on our van, and he refused to lose any additional money. He told us that since the **** light would be triggered he could not swap the wheels and to clear that light it would cost us another $740.I told him that was ridiculous and it does not cost anywhere near $740 to swap the wheels. I informed him that we had made the deal last night and now he was reneging on the deal and I did not appreciate their service. My wife wanted the van so we agreed to take it with the existing wheels.Since arriving home I realized the van we traded for has 3 different brand tires and they are also losing air. I have reached out via email to four different members of this company and have yet to receive any response. I would not do business here. They will lie, and deceive and say anything to try to earn your business, and then not keep their word.I picked one star only because it would not allow me to pick zero stars. Take your business elsewhere, where you are actually appreciated.Jones Chevrolet Response

Thank you for reaching out. I apologize for not being more prompt with a response as I was out of the office for the holiday. I would like to sort out the facts regarding your purchase so as to ensure there's no room for misinterpretation. You were told by a sales manager that the wheels could be swapped before actually seeing your vehicle in person. He is not a mechanic, and while tire swaps are usually very straightforward, this one was not. He had no way of knowing the sensors had changed between year models until our mechanic looked at the vehicles PRIOR to the sale. While ****** should not have spoken so quickly to say the wheel swap could be done, it was a genuine mistake and not a lie he told to get the sale or mislead you as the customer. You were told prior to signing paperwork and purchasing the van that the wheels could not be swapped, and you chose to take the van as is because your wife liked it. Our salespeople were up front with the problem when it arose and at no point after this did we give any indication that we would swap the wheels for free. You signed a We Owe that stated "nothing owed" after you were told the wheels could not be included in the deal. You went through finance and signed paperwork and took your car home that evening. We are disappointed to hear that you are no longer satisfied with your purchase, but want to set the record straight that this was not deceitful, nor did we renege on any promises made after purchase.Review from Joe E

If I could give zero stars I would! Not one phone call while my truck was in the shop for over a month. As of May 7th its still in the shop untouched! Every time I called they said they will call back. Never called back. Apparently they have 13 rental vehicles and every single one was being used. The worst customer service Ive ever had! If my truck breaks down in front of Jones Chevrolet I will tow it someplace else! When or if it ever gets done I will go through the truck and make sure its at least put together right before ever leaving this horrible dealership.Jones Chevrolet Response

I purchased a 2018 Chrysler Pacifica Minivan from the very beginning for my job as a mail carrier. I told the salesman what I did and that I was going to trade a 2014 RHD Jeep Wrangler and a 2019 ***** Sonic. I said that I needed a bigger vehicle for the packages and that I was about to have back surgery and I needed a more comfortable vehicle than the jeep. He said that it was great that they offer a "Lifetime Powertrain Warranty" and this would be great for me! I said REALLY? He agreed. He knew what I was going to do with the vehicle, I never kept anything from them and never lied. Fast forward 6 months and the van starts to get warm when I drive it. I take it back after practically begging them to look it because I am about to go back to work and I need my van. They tell me that the 1st cylinder is leaking and has warped the head. They will have to get the adjuster of the **************** to come look t it. After it sits for 3 weeks, they finally tell me that they have denied the claim due to i deliver mail and it voids the warranty. I never kept that from them and the salesman knew I delivered mail and that was its use. Now the general manager will not answer my emails or calls and the customer relations manager will not take my calls. I am stuck with a ****** van that is needing ****** of work and they are not going to cover it because they say I used it for deliveries. Yes, I did but from the very first minute I spoke to them they knew what I was going to do and he kept reassuring me that it will be covered. I even saw that same salesman this past Wednesday and told him what was going on. He said, oh no they are going to cover it. Then 4 hours later I get a call and they say. No, they aren't! If I tried to hide this from the very beginning it would be different. I never withheld this from anyone and their salesman is the one that kept shoving the "Lifetime Powertrain Warranty" down my throat. I would RUN from any and all car dealerships affiliated with Jones!Review from Doris L.

I bought a car and they are the worst company I have ever dealt with. They sold me a car on June 4, 2022. They told me the car needed an alignment and they would fix it the following Monday. It didn't need an alignment, it needed a speedometer cluster and nor did they tell me it was a ******** car. This is what they told me later. I wouldn't have ever bought a ******** car. They told me the reason the temperature was in celsius is because it needed adjusting and they would adjust it. It took them until November to put a speedometer cluster on it, They put me one on in Kilometers and I cant read it. It didn't have a speedometer in Kilometers when I purchased it. When I picked the car up the miles were rolled back. They told me it still needed a new part. That was on November 29, 2022. Now I can't get anyone to come to the phone and I have driven up there it seems like a 100 times. I am frustrated, overwhelmed and upset. I am a woman who didn't understand cars and they took advantage of me.Review from Coty M.
