Absolutely do not use Blue Star Construction. Jacob scammed us out of 10k. Story after story as to why no one showed to start the job. From April 2023 to July 2023 we agreed to part ways Jacob asked for 10 days to return our deposit. It's now November we have yet to see a dime. Please save yourself heartache and your hard earned money. Do not call Blue Star Construction. The address is bogus there is no office you can't even track them down.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! They have scammed us out of over $30,000 for an uncompleted deck. Signed our Contract in January and still not completed. Used shotty material and used inexperienced subcontractors. Kept promising to come and fix things and make it right. Does not show! Please don't give Jacob or Blue Star any of your money! We can't believe this guy took advantage of us. He talks a good game. Stay clear!

Overall, my new roof got installed quickly once project was started, at a decent price. I was told it would be started sooner that it was and it required me following up to get the project started.

I recently had the opportunity to use Blue Star Construction's services, and could not be happier with the results. After having storm damage to my aging roof, I contacted Blue Star and they had a complete new roof on in no time. Not only that, but they repaired a loose gutter and built a new handrail for my porch steps, as well. I will definitely be using them for some future projects, and highly recommend their services. Five Stars.

Beware of this company!!! Where to begin... My troubles with this company and its owner started a year ago. Jacob ****** owner of Blue Star Contruction was contracted to build an addition and put a new roof on my house. This contract which began in July 2022 and was supposed to be finished before Christmas of 2022. Jacob Wilson requested a down pay for the addition and the roof so construction could begin. When Christmas of 2022 came, I still do not have an addition or a new roof as a matter-of-fact construction has not even started. During the latter half of 2022 multiple attempts were made to contact Jacob trying to get something done. Jacob will not answer his phone, he will not return voice messages or text messages. When I finally did get him to answer the phone, he blamed me, saying I had blocked his number. This is the same weather you call his cell phone or office phone. So now we make it to January 2023, I was promised that my project will begin and be completed by the end of February. Nope!!! Wrong!!! Around the first of March Jacob came to me DEMANDING and BEGGING for a progress payment. For a project that hasn't even begun. Jacob was mad I could hear him cussing as he hung the phone up, because I said NO!! No more money until the project gets going. Then a miracle happens!!! People start showing up to do my project. They would come hammer a nail, then not show back up for three weeks. then come back hammer another nail. so forth and so on. So now the subcontractor tells me Jacob want pay him or even communicate with him and he is done. Now I have an addition that I can't access. There are no doors, no siding. just four walls and a roof. And by the way still no roof for the house!!! So, I have fired Jacob and his so-called construction company. I have DEMANDED my down payment back for the roof over $6,000 that he refuses to give back to me. This company and its owner are SCAMMERS. I will be reporting this company and its owner to the authorities.

***** ****** the owner will promise the world to get your money, but once he has it could not care less about following through.

This was the worst experience ever. I see that people have started changing their reviews once they get their money back but I won't be. They sent some kid out to quote some attic insulation. The experience was fine and we paid a deposit of $955 to get started. We were told the office lady would call and schedule the installation. Two weeks later, no one had called. I called them to cancel and get a refund and was told I'd have it in about a week. A week came and went. I called the kid back, I think Tristan? And he basically told me that they didn't have the money. They used our deposit to buy materials for other projects and once they finished those, they could refund us. We let another week go and filed a claim with our credit card company. They refunded us and we never heard from Blue Star or who ever they were. They charge said Kirkland Tucker, whoever that is. This place is a scam. I should have known better than to put money down. If a company can't cover materials for a job without up front payment, DON'T USE THEM!

We ended up not going with Blue Star for personal reasons but wanted to leave a review for an employee that we had been working with. Tristan Workman was awesome. He was professional, caring and made sure we were comfortable and informed with everything going on. If you ever have the chance to work with this man I promise you won't regret your decision.
