This company is a ONE BIG SCAM! First time ever needed to ship the car from Michigan to Texas. I received several quotes. Agent from company sounded trustworthy and assured about their service. But very quickly I realized that all they need is $200 nonrefundable deposit. After deposit was paid by Venmo (big mistake!) started the game of extortion and aggravation. I was receiving daily phone calls during work time. Original quote on contract of $550 was “not good anymore” and they started to ask for more and more money. I refused, stating that it was not a price agreed on the contract and told if they cannot stick to the contract to refund my deposit. Instead they offered me to explore “the other options” technically forcing me to cancel my contract after which the deposit is not refundable (according to the contract). After 4 days they sent me another contract this time for $900 and said that the car will be picked up in few days because the truck trailer is broken! They gave phone number to the driver. Amazingly the driver had the same foreign accent and on background I could hear sounds like office chatter. Driver assured that he “knows this company and agent very well”. I had the feeling that he was sitting next to the “agent” and was part of the scheme. Finally realizing that I was scammed, I called other company with good BBB feedback. My car was picked up and shipped without problem and aggravation in timely manner. Albatros Trucking Co refused to refund my deposit, claiming that I cancelled my contract which I never did and will try to get my my deposit back. They even have the guts to send me repeated texts with offers “as valuable customer” for future shipments and referrals!!! Angry, first of all on myself for missing all the “red flags”, I am writing this review to prevent other people from being ripped off. I will file the complaints with BBB and State of Tennessee or other institutions.

Michael was excellent in getting my vehicle picked up from Morehead, KY. and delivered to Missouri City, TX. It was picked up and delivered in a timely manner and at a great price. I'm glad I selected them to take care of the move.

Albatross shipping is the worst when it comes to customer service and ability to contact them. Also multiple times they attempted to charge more than was agreed upon. I signed a contract saying I give them a 400 dollar deposit and 1200 was due on delivery. Upon delivery date the shipping complaint had a completely different contract showing that I had to pay 1300 on delivery. On delivery date it was impossible to contact Albatross to the point where the agent blocked my number and the number of the shipper. They also bid low and tell you a low price and try and lock you I with the contract. This company is a scam and please do not use them. The are bad business and do not stick to their word.

Hooray! 2016 Prius shipped from Los Angeles to Spokane WA in two and one-half days! I finally found an honest, attentive broker (William ****** at Albatross) and a reliable, trustworthy driver (***** ****** ** ** *********** ***). But, I first was scammed by another broker/company (Zoe ** ** **********) who promised a lower price than others and supplied me with all the info (e.g., US DOT #, MC#, driver name and contact). I spoke with the driver ('Michael ******") before making the deposit. Once my deposit cleared, the driver had a sudden breakdown of his trailer....sound familiar? This industry is full of scammers and when they (like Zoe) complained to me that no one likes foreigners like herself, I no longer feel sympathy or compassion. They have earned their poor reputations. That is why I am posting a review in support of William Hadson of Albatross. He first guided me to remove all the other postings of my auto on the National Board. Multiple postings only drive up the cost. Once others were removed, he found me a driver at a reasonable price. I phoned the driver and kept in touch in case of any delays (there was one, but not a problem for me). The driver (***** ****** ** ** *********** ***) was amazing. After all the hassle I went through to find a decent broker and then finally getting a great driver, the car battery had died and I needed to call AAA to get into the locked vehicle (no key, only battery operated remote). Once the door was opened, Decio jumped the car, loaded it, and was on his way. I spend over an hour getting to know him -- great, hard-working, honest guy! So, despite all the unpleasantness of this whole dishonest industry, I found two terrific people and companies I am confident in recommending. Glad it's all over!! Janet in Los Angeles

It was very easy to work with Jordan. We had great communication. Really fast shipping. Car was picked up on Saturday and was delivered on Monday. Will do business again.

Picked up the car when promised. Delivered the 3 days early. Only concern was that i was quotes 1200 and have a contract for 1200. When it came time to pick the car up the price increased to 1500. So I had to get the car picked up and had no choice

Worked with Stella Grace. Initially was not pleased as they gave an estimate of $400 for a move. Though after researching more I found the the average price was 1000-1250 for this move. Stella did work very hard and quickly and found a driver who would move for $750. She was readily available, the move was the quickest I have had a car shipped. It was also shipped in a covered trailer which is usually move expensive... service wise and communication was 5 stars, initial quotes are not very accurate so be aware of that though still much more afordable then others.

These people will straight up lie and bait you with a low quote and then tell you that the price is doubled if not tripled. They told me $700 and I come to find out they posted my listing for $1,300. Literally wasted so much of my time and then continued to lie when I sent them their listing. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY

Had my car transmission go out, my daughter in law and two granddaughters were in Fayetteville Arkansas, Albetross responded to my request and 12 hours later my car was delivered to my mechanic in Garland, Texas. These people are the best.
