Purchased home, in 2021 and found out the builder was negligent in the plumbing. Under our kitchen sink, behind the cabinet, behind the drywall was the clean out pipe that was never capped by the builder. Because of this water has been draining out into the walls and under the cabinets for years and has created a mold issue behind the wall and under several cabinets. With the mold it has caused our family has suffer sickness. This has damaged the foundation of the home and the interior integrity of the structure. When we reached out to Turner to do the right thing because the construction deficiencies that resulted in poor workmanship in failing to properly install the plumbing, their response was no, sorry we cannot help you. They wouldn't even come out for an assessment.

We bought a new build in July 2024 from Turner Homes. There we items in the final walk-through that Turner Homes agreed to reconcile. One item (front porch post) was damaged which the builder agreed to replace. The replacement post was not replaced as it was when we purchased the home nor was it done per the standard of all other homes in this neighborhood. The post is supposed to fit tight against the header (top of the porch) and be blocked at the bottom with pressure treated wood (with the top and bottom trimmed) . The replacement post the builder put in was blocked at the top and the bottom with regular 2x4 blocking (not pressure treated). This left a gap at the top where bees tried to nest and left the non-pressure treated wood exposed to weather conditions (where it will rot over time). They also never stained the post (again, per the standard). I have tried to get this reconciled since July. A rep from the "warranty group" came to my house to look at this issue today (without ever knocking on my door to announce himself). When I saw him and went outside he tried to be very vague about who he was. Additionally he told me they would NOT replace this post to be "as it was when I bought this home". He told me there was no minimum expectation and that they'd do nothing to resolve this. All of this comes after I was promised new sod (they laid it in July and it died) and I had to fight them just to get my yard issue resolved (this took from July until mid September to resolve). I have photos of my post (pre and post replacement) and of a post on another home to show what the minimum expectation is for resolution.
