            I own a business and rented a storage unit H005 from iStorage in Aug 2023 to store merchandise I sell in my store. I have paid my bill on time every month up until now. In approximately Jan 2024 we went to our unit to pick up some merchandise and our lock was gone and a new lock was on the unit. We talked to the manager and he said someone must have cut our lock off and placed their own lock. He said it would cost us to have the lock cut off. We didn't feel that we should pay the fee and went back and forth with the regional manager until she waived the fee. We were told the manager would call us when the person that can cut it off could meet us there. We never received a call. When we contacted the manager the end of April he said he had forgotten about it. At this point we were willing to pay the fee if that would make them cut it off. We were told someone could come out that Friday and cut it off. We had a customer to that wanted to buy a large quantity of merchandise but wanted to buy them before Friday. We called the 1-800 number and tried to get arrange for someone to come cut it off since none of this was our fault. The regional manager told us that they would not have the tool available until Friday. So we waited for a call but we have not received a call from anyone at iStorage to meet to have the lock cut off. We have been kept from access to our storage unit for approximately 4 months all the while we have been making timely payments. We have lost out on the sell of these items. We need the lock to be cut off immediately so we can access our storage unit and we should be reimbursed the monthly fees we have not had access to our unit.
