$4/12/2024 $6,849.00 2014 Silverado Transmission A transmission repair. The didn't give a quote before they started, I asked 3 times. Told them to put it back in. they said it will be $835 dollars. or we want give you your truck. I told them I had to have my truck for medical reasons, so I said go ahead and do it. Called me said its $6,849 dollars I got upset about them overcharging me. Had a quote at Reeder Chevrolet for $5,700 They told me they could save me a lot of money if they did the rebuild. so much for that. Told me it would be 11 thousand dollars if they put in a rebuilt transmission. Reeder Chevrolet said they could do it for $5700 hundred They put the cheapest parts they could find and charged me 3 times the cost I could have bought them for. I didn't get home before it started slipping again. I went back and they didn't put enough transmission fluid in. they also lied to me. I had to have my truck so i paid them. Thy wouldn't take a check or credit card Had a sign on the table they would. I was willing to pay them. Then they told me that they would only take cash or certified check. I got upset again they told me to leave. Now the truck is making a bad noise they said it's not the transmission. I didn't make that sound when I took it over there. I have proof of that. I have proof they charged me 3 times the cost of the parts. I asked about some of the parts that need to be install I asked if they were new parts and they said yes, I found out they were rebuilt parts. I told them i had to have the old parts back I got about half. They said if they gave me all the parts i had to pay for some of them. me from even seeing it. They said I would leave without paying. The truck belongs to me I tried to pay them for the repair. It plainly states that they take credit cards I had to call my wife to go to the bank to get cash before they would give me my truck... I drove that truck to the hospital when I had my heart attack, I had to have my truck then.
