    We contracted with Tutor Doctor to help our child with reading. They offer a money back guarentee so we thought it was a safe investment. She didn't connected to the first person they sent so we requested another person. That person did nothing but sit and listen to her read so it wasn't helpful at all! We decided to cancel the service per our contract. We had to pay in full up front. We are owed a refund of the unused portion of our payment. We have made several attempts to contact Dr. ***** through phone calls and emails. He has never returned a call or answered an email. If has been a full month since we cancelled. That is ample time to process the refund!! It appears he intends to keep all our money and ignore us! Other people should be warned about this organization. I would think it's false advertising to say you offer a money back guarantee and refuse to honor it!

As I told them, due to our checks and balances it sometimes takes over a month to get their refund. This is even stated in the agreement. One thing that was not mentioned was that during the Summer I am short staffed and things slow a little. The family will be getting their refund according section 13 of the enrollment terms of services. My goal is to not keep their money and ignore them, but when you have answered their questions several times other matters take priority. We are not false advertising and the only thing that people should be warned about us is our list of happy clients The family will receive their refund by August 16. Interesting response! He discussed a refund one time with my daughter and never with me, let alone several times! Such a sad way to do business!     We recently spent almost 900.00 for 12 hours of math tutoring to help me pass my PRAXIS 5003. I recently took this exam again after using this service and did not come close to passing this test. I am trying to become a teacher, and I just have this math test to pass to go on to student teaching. In the beginning, was very nice and returned calls promptly. The tutor we had was great, and she helped me overcome some of my math fear and was always on time. This company charged a hefty "processing fee", and that is what I am wanting back. The material we went over each time was prepared by myself, and the practice tests we used came from my paid subscription to Exam Edge. did have a book from Mckay's the first time we met, but I was the one in charge of practice tests, problems, and content we went over. This company needs to do more research to meet the needs of those who are taking this test as I did. was very nice especially when I charged 6 more hours to help me get past this test. It can also be noted that I made a 152 on my own studying prior to using them, and a 157 is passing in the state if TN. I just feel like now that the owner doesnt care as he has yet to email me back or return any calls. I feel like we literally wasted 900.00, and yes I have a math weakness but ignoring folks just because they give you bad news is not the answer. The tutor was very nice as well and sadly she hasnt responded to me either. I asked both of them for suggestions and NOTHING! I could have used 900 on another service that actually cares about clients after the service occurs and they are seeking advice which was all I was doing to him. I will never recommend this service again based upon the coldness I got after I told them I didnt pass this test and what advice did they have for me. Its like you arent paying us anymore so goodbye. I at least want the processing fee refunded back to my credit card because I did ALL of the prep work ALL 12 hours. I feel used.

However, in this case there were a few other circumstances that came up. asked for a $250 refund and I refunded him $300. Once he received the refund, he told me the case was closed and that he was satisfied. He also told me would contact BBB to tell you also. In summary we have worked it out where is satisfied.
