    We ordered vertical blinds for nine windows on 12/7/23, paying half of the total balance of $4990.00 and the blinds were delivered on 12/20/23 when we paid the $2495.00 balance. We made no complaints when the installer's helper stepped on multiple blinds as he was hanging them, and many had to be turned because they were installed backwards. We started noticing that the blinds were not hanging symmetrically, where some had large overlaps while others hardly touched. I started calling Budget Blinds and speaking with ******** (***) on 7/12/24 as the issue was worsening. I called again on 7/17/24 (I had called on 7/15 & left a message with the answering service on 7/16) and *** was speaking with ****, who never took my calls, and emailing the manufacturer to see what could be done to correct the issue. I called back on 7/30/24 and was asked to text pictures to ***. The 12 attached pictures were texted and *** acknowledged their receipt. *** nor **** ever returned any of my calls so I kept calling back. I called again on 8/12/24, and *** said that **** said our blinds were no longer under warranty (they came with a 2 year warranty). He apparently had pulled my husband's records where he had bought a blind around 15 years ago. I explained that we had only bought our blinds in December 2023, and **** decided to send the installer back to personally look at the blinds. When I called *** on 8/19/24, she said that the issue is that our blinds are too light in color, allowing the overlap to show and they could sell us darker blinds, but there was nothing else they could do. I told her this was unacceptable because if this was an issue with the lighter color, we should have been told at the time of the sale, and with light behind them, even darker blinds would show the overlaps. She said she would have the manufacturer's Representative to call me. He had not called, and I called back on 8/29/24 and *** said she would ask him again to call, and he hasn't called to date.
