On going, over billing, Ingram has billed my acccount on a monthly basis, although the agreed contract terms is on a yearly basis. Ingram's credit supervisor **** has admitted this error and Ingram has refused to credit the account despite my requests and attempts.

    Business response

    02/02/2024

We have been in contact with the publisher on numerous occasions regarding their inquiry and we will follow up with them directly again.

    Complaint: 21217159

I am rejecting this response because:the information in the response is not true. They have not been in contact with me. Ingram has refused to 1) return my efiles and print files, this can be done by CD and mailed to my address. Return my files.

    2) I have been over billed and I want a refund. Ingram has attempted to 'debate' harrangue and red ******* to excuse the monthly fees that should be billed on a yearly basis, they agree to issue a credit memo but when it was realized that it was $30,000 due to 10 years of over billing this is the issue. I want a refund for errorneously billing me and they do not want to give me that refund. If I had my money I'd not seek resolution and attempt to shed light on the bad business.

I'd like to get paid and to get my document. Ingram has clerly and never answed you BBB wh they won't return my files and they will never ever say anything about a refund. They are bullying me into begging for my money this is my income that htey garnished. The don't want to give me back my money, not thier money but my money they fradulently over billed. They cannot validate the billiling and we are at an empass of taking it or begging for it in any forum that I can afford.

This is a 1 billion dollar conpany stealing $30,000 dollars from a customer that entrusted them with my files to help me grow, instead they destroyed my business and I'm left with nothing.

**** the courts force them they are not showing any signs of ethic. They said, 'they'd be in touch and have not and won't.

They know BBB really won't do anyting so its just going throgh the act.

    Sincerely,

    *****************************

I am not surprised by the response. I filed my lawsuit today. But my question for the BBB is how are you still rating this business in good standing when online they have multiple compliants.

We entered into a distribution agreement that ended in 2012 however it was recently discovered that Ingram has continued to bill on the closed account.Instead of crediting the account for the mishap they have refused to credit the account and have closed the account. ********************** knows the *** account closed 9 years ago and will not correct the billing error. Wed like the account credited accordingly

I bought a book called the world's most stunning pets which was supposed to have my figs picture in it. I bought it and want to return the item it was approximately *****. I sent an email to the company stating I eould like to return snd was told all sales are final. The only items we take back if the item has been damaged. I would like to return it but since when are items you bought on the internet through their website a final sale? I eould like to get a refund since I don't want it

I believe that this complaint has been misdirected.  Ingram Book Group does not sell directly to consumers.

Ingram Books always demands payment whenever an invoice comes due, and they have threatened to close my account after a few weeks if they have received no payment. But at the same time, they have NOT paid me any royalties, ok? They send me emails stating that the royalties have been paid. Really? I have told them that my account has changed and they have done nothing about it. They also threatened to close my account before. It appears they discriminate against small publishers. I'm tired of being treated like a 2nd class citizen. My books have literary merit.

We are reaching out to the customer to review what has been paid and open on account that is to be paid.

    Complaint: 19344981

I am rejecting this response because: Ingram Books KNOWS that THEY HAVE NOT PAID ME FOR TWO YEARS approximately,

and that I have sold books.   I have tried, quite ironically, to run reports on their database and I AM UNABLE TO.   Did

they do something?   Ingram books should admit that they didn't pay me and tell me what they owe me and pay me

that and make me whole.  They are PLAYING GAMES.

    Sincerely,

    ***********************

We thought this had been resolved and since the BBBs latest message, we have reached out several times and the claimant is non-responsive.
