I went up to this companies car lot looking for a vehicle, while looking at a potential vehicle I test drove, I spoke with the owner about potentially buying said vehicle. The owner said they were going to hold the vehicle for me until I get paid and they went ahead, and approved me to the bank loan company without even being in possession of the vehicle at any time.

***** J *******- ****** came to Chosen Auto Sales on 10/22/2024 to purchase a vehicle. He stated that he currently had $1500 to put down on a vehicle. After test driving several vehicles, he chose a Gray 2010 ****** Xterra with ******* miles. He was told that he would need $2600 down for the vehicle, but he could drive off with $1500 down and that he had until 11-23-2024 to bring back the additional $1100.  Next, he signed loan documents for Credit *************** and paperwork for Chosen Auto Sales to purchase the vehicle, along with a promise to pay form. When we asked him for the $1500 down payment, so that he could take possession of the Gray 2010 ****** Xterra. He then stated, to our surprise, that he actually didn't have any of the down payment money to put down yet. He stated, and this entire conversation was recorded security camera footage, that he would have the $1500 the next week, when he got paid. So, then we told him that we would hold the vehicle at the dealership, until he brought in at least $1500 of the $2600 down payment.  After giving us excuse, after excuse for several weeks. He then calls and says to cancel the deal and to remove the credit inquire from his credit. We then told him that we could cancel the deal, but we couldn't remove the credit inquire from his credit. After canceling the deal, just to be nice, because he was in a loan contract with ********************** not with Chosen Auto Sales. He files a complaint with the BBB, for absolutely no reason. Or should I say, files a false complaint?

We do apologize for any issues the customer is having with there vehicle. We don't have manpower or resources to work on a sold vehicles after 30 from the purchase dated. That's why we put a ****** miles/24 month warranty on every vehicle we sales, unless the customer ops out. If any issues arise within the first 30 days of purchase, we fix them free of charge. Even though, every customer signs, an As Is Statement. After 30 days, the customer can take there vehicle to any auto repair facility that accepts their warranty. In this case the customer has a warranty through Superior Protection. She called us, we told her to bring it in. But she acted, as if she was to busy to bring it in within the first 30 day time period. Which I'm sure made the matters worse. So when she called to again after 30 days of the purchase date. We referred her to a Krosh Automotive, a local repair shop, that takes the warranty she has.
