The Firestone Complete Auto Repair, on Eisenhower, in Macon, Georgia. This business went way beyond helping me. I was on my way to get treatment for cancer and my truck broke down. I was going to get 3 months worth of treatment. They fixed my truck and held it for 3 months so I could not worry about my truck while getting treatment. I paid for the repairs and they are still holding my truck. I get my last surgery next week. Then a few days later I will pick up my truck.

In May 2024, I had the brakes replaced on my **** F-150 at the Annandale, VA Tires Plus store. I had to bring it back in twice more within a week for further work because the brand-new brakes were squealing. A few weeks later the parking brake assembly on my rear passenger side wheel came apart while I was driving. Not only was this dangerous, it caused a significant amount of damage. I took my truck to a ****  dealership and they had to do $4,323 worth of work to repair the damage. Because no one else touched my brakes, the work the Tires Plus store did was likely the cause of the issue. As soon as I got home from bringing my truck to the **** dealership and before they had even looked at it, I called the Tires Plus store to let them know what happened and that I would be filing a claim. The manager told me to let him know how much it cost and he would then pass it along through the proper Bridgestone channels. Once the damage was repaired a few days later, I called the store to let the manager know how much it cost me and the manager then filed a claim through the Bridgestone corporate channels. A few days later, I was contacted by a Bridgestone claims rep but he said because they did not have a 3rd party inspect the damage they would not pay out the full claim. This was the first I heard about the requirement to have a 3rd party look at the damage in order to file a claim. The manager didn’t mention it when I called (before any work was done at the **** dealership), nothing I signed said anything about it, and I could not find anything on your website that said a 3rd party was a requirement. I would argue the **** dealership could have been used as a 3rd party expert. Furthermore, I still have all of the damaged parts and offered to have a 3rd party come look at them. None of this sufficed for the claims rep and therefore my claim was not offered to be fully reimbursed.

Firestone on base at Ft. Campbell convinced my soldier his tires were 14 years old that he needed new ones. I purchased them 2 years ago at another Firestone. He spent $1,000 on tires he did not need, less than 100 miles later his front wheel came off on a busy four lane highway. The truck was towed to a shop who notified us that clearly the wheel was not properly put back on, and that we needed to contact Firestone about it. The shop stated they checked all the lug nuts, and some on the vehicle had less than 50 pounds of torque on them which is less than half of what is required. Needless to say it cost another $1,800 to get his vehicle drivable again. Firestone after six weeks concluded there was not any evidence that they were at fault. They should not be allowed on a military base if they are going to cheat our soldiers and then put their and everyone on the highways life at risk.

I went in to Firestone on Friday the 20th for a simple tire change. My car dash only had 2 lights on. The tire light and the tpsm as I a need an alignment and that’s fine I was expecting that. Not only did it take almost over an hour to just replace 1 tire. As a worker came back they stated that a new light was on the brake light(flashing) and my vehicle was not doing that before. As I disputed they also broke my gear shift as it seems they have an irresponsible person working on it. They denied responsibility and offered the tire for free. The next day my vehicle started making a grinding sound. I went elsewhere to see what could be going on. They stated that whoever changed the tire must have jammed it too hard trying to get a lug nut off and hit the caliper. I went back to Firestone and not only did they belittle me, they made it seem like that sound was there to begin with but if it was on it would be in the notes they provided and it was not stated no where. In fact it stated that weight was needed to change as it proved difficult. Now a simple tire change 150$ turned into a 400$ part needed. Steven J***** Anthony C********* are the ones that worked on my vehicle. Claiming “your vehicle is not a new car, it could’ve had rust beforehand.” All in all I had a terrible experience at this Firestone and if I could rate zero stars I would

I went to get my car aligned. They took 5 and a half hours with my car and didn’t tell me it was ready. I had to call them. When I got there, they told me they didn’t align my car because it had other issues that would cost at least $2500 to fix. They told me they would call me back when they hear from the vendors. I called twice and no one got back to me. I took it to another shop and the shop was able to align it within 45 minutes and he said everything else was fine. He couldn’t sell me any other parts in good conscience. Instead of paying at least $2500 to fix my car, I ended up paying $150 to get what I wanted done in the first place. Firestone Complete Auto Care tried to screw me out of thousands of dollars for parts I didn’t need so they can make more money off of me.

0 stars 3501 S Fox St, Englewood, CO Firestone & Kenneth R*****. 5 stars 6783 W Canyon Ave, Littleton, CO Firestone. I wanted to buy a truck from ******** **** *******. Wanted it checked out but could not get it in quickly to my Firestone on W Canyon. ******** suggested taking it to S Fox St Firestone. I agreed. I called them to ask for the top inspection. I was called back advising the truck had newer parts but some rust. I asked if the rust was bad enough for me NOT to buy the truck. They said no. A few weeks later, Check Suspension System/Check Engine Light came on. I took it to ****** **** ****. They found codes that were related to engine pressure, left front position sensor invalid, found 2 connectors hanging that might go to missing component under driver-side door, & left rear suspension leveling sensor had broken off the bracket due to rust & was just hanging. After finding these, they advised they could not work on the truck any further because the rear gas tank strap was missing, & a new strap could not be attached because of all the frame rust & part of the frame was missing. They indicated this was dangerous & that the fuel tank was held in place by the fuel filler neck (And * *** DID NOT SEE THAT?). Also, the suspension level sensor could not be repaired due to the mount being rusted off & unable to be replaced. ******** took it to their shop to see if the gas tank strap could be fixed. It was fixed. Then I got a Check Brake System alert. I took it to my S Canyon Firestone. I found out the rear gas tank strap was fixed with a rachet strap and it was already fraying. REALLY? Also, the brake line was so rusted it began to leak - would require cutting out/welding new line. They said they would never have advised to buy this truck. I submitted on-line complaint for Firestone for the S Fox location & got email back from Kenneth advising that rust is subjective, that they did not see a problem and therefore I was out of luck, basically. DON'T USE THEM!!!!

Saturday night I saw that my tire had a bubble above the rim. I had all four tires replaced from this Firestone almost exactly 1 year ago, I figured it would be covered under warranty since it was clearly to me a tire defect. Sunday morning I called and made an appointment for later that afternoon. I drove there on my donut to find that no one was at the shop and they had closed. Monday morning I made another appointment. When I arrive, they don’t have my tire in the shop and will have to wait until later in the day for the shipment to come Later we receive a phone call that because of the hurricane set to hit on Wed, the warehouse shut down. They will call once the tire is in Friday morning they call and leave a message saying they have my tire now. I call and triple check they have my tire before I drive there again for no reason. They confirm yes. After dropping my car off, they leave a voicemail saying they actually don’t have my tire and don’t know when warehouse will open post hurricane. I return to the shop and ask them if they could put SOMETHING other than this donut on my car until my tire comes in. I work 30 miles from home at TGH so I NEED to be able to drive this car. Plus they recognize that I’ve now wasted 3 trips to this shop on their error. The store manager, John, says that not only would I need to pay for this temporary tire, but the tire with the bubble was a “road hazard” and not covered under warranty. All of this inconvenience to get NOWHERE, so I take my keys and leave. I call *** **** right across the street now that I know that for some reason Firestone won’t cover my tire under warranty. They looked at the tire and showed me every reason that this tire was a defect and NOT a road hazard. (No scratches along rim, nothing in tire, tread in nearly perfectly new condition, no signs that I hit anything). I tell them my whole Firestone experience and they are APPALLED, and told me there is no way anyone could justify calling it a road hazard.

Firestone located on MacDill AFB failed diagnose my issue properly. Now my issue was amplified when it could have been prevented. This caused even further financial loss for me.

BEWARE!!!! There are multiple employees at the 1551 Florida Mall location that have NO LICENSE because it is SUSPENDED!! Why is this being allowed when the employee has to test drive MY vehicle after service is complete before returning the key. If they get into an accident who will be paying for the damages?? If the employees were not speaking so loud, I would not have overheard their conversation about the status of their license.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO THIS STORE!! I took my car to the Firestone at 1970 Sam Rittenberg Blvd for an oil change. After I left my car there, I got a call from, Tony, the service manager at Firestone, saying my brakes were “metal on metal”. I had just had my brakes checked 2 weeks prior to this at another kind of store and was told they were fine. Being confused, I picked up my car and took it back to the first place. They removed all 4 tires and using a measuring instrument, showed my husband and I that my brakes were in fact fine. When I went back to Firestone to discuss the incorrect statement about my brakes, the mechanic said, “ Oh, I didn’t remove the tires to check the brakes.” How do you check brakes without removing the tires? My family and I have had several experiences like this at this store, but thought we could at least trust them for an oil change. We will not be going back for anything ever again. They are scam artists!
