    I prepaid for parking on ********. However, the only way for me to get out of the garage was to pay Metropolis. During nearly a dozen emails back and forth, they insisted that I had not been charged, even though my credit card statement made it very clear that I had been. I'm not sure if they were trying to gaslight me, they were enormously incompetent, or (most likely) their customer support agent "Mary S." did not understand what I was trying to tell her.

    I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding the incredibly poor service and unethical practices I have experienced with your company. As a customer who relies on your service due to the lack of alternative parking options, I am extremely disappointed. Firstly, your contact service is severely lacking. Despite numerous attempts, I have been unable to reach an actual person to discuss the issues I am facing. This level of customer support is unacceptable and has caused significant inconveniences to not only myself but all other users. Secondly, the rollout of your product has been nothing short of disastrous. There have been countless issues that have yet to be resolved, and the response time from your team to address these problems has been painfully slow. This has resulted in numerous complaints from other businesses and customers in my area who are also compelled to use your service. Moreover, I find it utterly contradictory and, frankly, humorous that your company claims to believe in "technology’s power to improve our communities" when your product has been under scrutiny from the Better Business Bureau (BBB) across the USA. The level of dissatisfaction among your users is growing, and it appears your organization is doing little to address these concerns. I urge you to address these issues immediately and provide a satisfactory resolution. "Pattern of Complaint: On December 6, 2024, at the request of Metropolis Technologies, BBB met with the company to discuss the ongoing pattern of complaints. During the meeting, the company advised that they are actively working to address and resolve these issues. BBB will update this aspect of the business profile as additional information becomes available."

    I have been sent notices to pay for cars that are not mine in garages I have never been to for license plates that don’t match mine. There is no customer service to speak to.

    Prepaid to park in ******* for 4 days great rate and nice garage BUT the ** code they send you doesnt work! Had to contact attendant to get in and get out which took over 15 each time with other angry customers behind you waiting. Tried customer service twice to help, left 2 messages and no return call.

    Horrible! They are scammers. Their interface is really confusing. My son was charged 52 dollars for not parking there. He scanned the QR Code and saw the price (high), he decided to leave the lot and parked someone else. According to them he selected to park 720 minutes ( 50 dollars)which indicates this is clearly a mistake or a set up does the app default to 720 minutes? ( he was downtowm to see a Hockey game ) apparently once you scan the qr code it is like a prepaid parking meter. No refunds/corrections possible. Customer service are inept and disrespectful. My son is a minor and Destiny insisted that she was making me a favor by speaking to me about it. She refused to connect me with a supervisor or give me her last name, she hang up on me when I asked her for a Ticket/ Reference number. Absolutely the worse!

    The fraudulent practices and poor customer service for this company are well documented. Unfortunately, if you want to attend events in any of the large cities they service - you don't have much of a choice. Last month I used my account to pay for parking of a friend's vehicle since she drove us to the event. My friend was sent an email to add me as a shared driver which we ignored because I do not drive her car. When I was not added - her plate was "supposedly" removed from my account. 3 weeks later my friend and her husband attended another event in a different garage and MY ACCOUNT was charged for their parking. They literally and fraudulently added the plate number back to my account and processed the charge on my card. Not only that - but these friends have a parking pass for this particular event - so the company is 100% double dipping on parking charges. I called and then emailed with three different customer service agents - all agreed policy was confusing and frustrating and still would not offer a refund. Told me I should take it up with my friend and that I should not pay for other's parking in the future. The worst!

    Absolute scam with ZERO customer support. DO NOT SAVE YOUR INFO IN THEIR SYSTEM.I was charged 45.00 for parking while I was sitting at home. This cutting edge, AI driven platform doesn't work and hides behind slow email as it's ONLY way to receive support (which is outsourced overseas). Delete your info after every use if you MUST use them...please file BBB complaints and put your reviews out there so this company can get what it deserves, they are a menace to the community and we deserve better.

    I travel for work and inevitably and unfortunately have to use parking lots operated by this company so my car registration information is on file for them. Recently I stayed at the ********** ******** that has a valet parking service. In short when the valet drove my car into Metropolis' camera-monitored garage it began to charge me to park there. The ******** also charged for parking on this company's behalf. This company made it nearly impossible to remove the duplicate charge. They bank on you getting double-charged and giving up on getting your money back due to the convoluted process of issue resolution. The representatives are neither nice nor understanding.

    A year ago while in Detroit we parked at a Metropolis operated garage for two hours. We paid the rate through QR code and headed out. A year later several fraudulent charges started hitting my credit card for different parking lots in downtown Detroit. I had no choice but to file fraudulent charges with my card company and ended up getting my money back. This is not fair to the consumer. I don’t even live in MI, I live in Oregon hundreds of miles away. I don’t understand why there are so many complaints but nothing being resolved.

    Visited Nashville for the first time ever. Metropolis valet service handles all the parking for these two hotels under contract. They had custody and control over our vehicle for 4 days during which thousands of dollars of personal property was stolen. Report filed with Metropolis and police. Not one call back or response. Zero sense of responsibility. And there were other reports of stolen property while we were there. It is ridiculous that one can’t even get a phone number or email to follow up.
