I parked in a parking lot managed by ******** Parking on August 8 on Lindsey Ave. We followed the instructions for the parking lot - but could make the app work on our phones - nor is there a way to make a credit card payment. I received a bill for $60 for failure to pay for parking. Which is three times what the parking should have been. I have paid the absorbent fine on Sept. 15 -- which they added an addition $4 processing fee taking it to $64, Companies like this are making it to where Nashville locals will no longer go downtown. $64 to park in Nashville! I am requesting a full refund.Business response

After 6;15pm Friday, 8/26/2022 I parked my car in a space designated for ************ **** located at *** ******* South, *********, TN XXXXX. There are signs posted on the building right in front of where I parked that read Parking for ************ **** customers from 8am to 5:pm Monday-Friday. There are 3-4 of these exact signs posted on the building and one was located right in front of the space I parked in. When I came to my car after attending a show at ************** I found a ticket on my windshield from spsnashville.parkingpayment.net which I have learned is Stewart Parking Solutions. The Parking Violation Ticket is in the amount of $60.00. I would have gladly paid for parking if I had seen that I was in a paid parking area. However, there was no sign or indication that I was to pay to park in this space and from the sign on the building a violation would have been between the hours of 8am-5pm. The Violation ticket is stamped at 6:38pm. Location: ************ Lot Vehicle Gray ******** barcode: XXX-XXX-XXX. I have not made payment on their site and do not feel that I should have to being I do not see that there is a violation. Thank you.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2022/09/09) */ We have signs in the lot that state pay for parking right beside the ************ signs you mentioned in your case description. Consumer Response /* (3000, 10, 2022/09/12) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) I did not see the sign from your company that would have stated it was a paid parking. I looked for any possibility of it being a paid parking lot and only saw the multiple signs posted by the business which stated "Customer Only Parking between the hours of 8am to 5pm." If I had seen the sign, I would have been happy to have paid for the parking. Being that I had not seen any other signs stating it was paid parking after store hours, I feel it unfair to charge me a $60.00 fine. Business Response /* (4000, 12, 2022/09/13) */ We have signs in the lot that say pay for parking.Initial Complaint

I received notification July 10th regarding unpaid parking violations. I was unaware of this notice since I never received any previous notifications of the violations until they sent me this one threatening to boot my car. I got online and noticed that there were actually two that I was never notified of. I paid both on July 12th. Then I received another letter in the mail August 10th regarding unpaid charges. I was able to get on their payment website to view the charges ONCE and then was unable to go back to look or dispute them since AGAIN no notification of charges were ever sent. Threats of collection were in the letter. NO NUMBER is available for this company to even speak to a representative. I feel this company is a scam and are intentionally trying cause harm to hardworking individuals like me. No payment will be made and I will dispute the current payments I made with my bank if this issue is not resolved.Business response

This is with regards to a letter from SPS with the header "Final Notice to avoid vehicle booting" . I am unable to make the payment to the online address mentioned which is ******************* using my license plate number. Tried several ways to pay. Contacted our Court and they couldn't bring up the link. Today, received Final Notice and threatened to put boots on. We took the payment by check #452, dated 7/26/22 in the amount of $60.00. My son stated that it tried to get assistance from the attendant but he ignored them. Why should we be held accountable for the attendant not doing his job. ThanksBusiness response

Business Response /* (1000, 10, 2022/09/16) */ We don't have attendants at our parking locations. Consumer Response /* (3000, 12, 2022/09/16) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) If you don't have an attendant, then how are people suppose to get help. He saw someone that he thought worked there. Maybe you should consider adding an attendant if you don't have one at this place of business. We would like a full refund. Business Response /* (4000, 16, 2022/10/03) */ We are sending a refund for the parking ticket to Mr. ******.Initial Complaint

I parked at an open lot in Birmingham. There was a QR code listed as a means of payment which I repeatedly tried to use- as did other members of my group. A link to pay never showed up. We were late for dinner so finally just gave up. I came back to my car to find a ticket for $**!? When I emailed to contest the fine and explained the situation and Said I would happily pay the original $* but not the $** since something was wrong with their payment system, they said my request was "denied". It is outrageous that I'm being penalized for their QR code not working.Initial Complaint

According to a notice it said I parked somewhere on 4th Avenue. I don't know where. I have checked my phone records and calendar and honestly have no recollection of parking there. The first indication of this was a letter in the mail talking of a "final notice to Avoid booting". Apparently the fee is something like $**. I even went online to look for details on the website. It asked for my plate number. After I put it in nothing showed up. The letterhead on the paper looked a bit suspicious. The violation supposedly happened on January 5th, and the "final" notice occurred on April 1st. I cannot help but think it's a joke. This was my first notice of anything like this. I have no idea what's going on and am not only confused but frustrated to find out that even according to your system I have nothing to pay for, but yet get a notice in the mail. I have not received a ticket on my car or anything. This makes no sense.Business response

Received a parking violation at the Gibson Lot in Nashville **. My car was booted and I had to pay all fines to get the boot removed.
