I had my dog groomed here for the first time. My dog has red skin and dark colorations on her body from thyroid and allergy issues. I see specialists for these matters and have been on her treatment for several years now. I told the lady at the desk when I dropped her off about these matters. Upon "grooming her" the owner called me giving me unsolicited veterinarian advice over the phone and when I got to the store in person when I picked up my dog. When I said I just wanted to pay for the service and get my dog, she got defensive and aggressive accusing me of animal abuse and neglect. She said "You don't understand what it means to be a dog owner so you might as well surrender your dog to someone with better care." I don't feel the need to defend myself or the ways I care for my dog's wellbeing. She said "get your ******* dog and get out of my shop". I went to the back to get her and they snatched the paper receipt out of my hand all while the people in the shop cussed me out and laughed at me. They said "go back to California you ******* *****" and continued to berate me and cuss at me. When I got outside to put my dog in the car, she followed me and continued to yell threats and tried to intimidate me by getting within 1 inch of my face yelling, "hit me ***** I ******* dare you" and did this for 15 seconds until I took my phone out and started recording. She then went back into the shop while I called the police. She came out of the shop multiple times recording my car and taking pictures. This woman is the owner and told me her name is ****** When the police got there, I gave them my statement and so did they but the officer said no crime occurred so he couldn't do anything.

Business Response /* (1000, 13, 2022/09/06) */ This person needs some professional help. She was sketchy & evasive on basic grooming/skin care questions. Dogs skin was in horrific condition and required vet visit not grooming. ***** was evasive about vet care yet got defensive when we asked who is the vet to confirm dogs condition. We refused to groom dog the way she wanted because of skin condition. She decided to act childish & screamed at owner & one employee, then threatened owner by getting in owners face & blowing kisses in owners face & daring confrontation. Then crazy person gets in her car & blows kisses from her car & sits in parking lot yelling at my customers as they walk in salon telling me to call cops. I did call police who quickly ran her off & told her not to return or she gets free go to jail card for trespassing. We went ahead and partially groomed dog because poor dog was in obvious discomfort & we have a shampoo we knew would give him much needed relief. She then tried to not pay for groom by reversing credit card charge which proved unsuccessful after merchant account agreed with us so we did in fact received payment for services rendered. So now crazy person goes to post a picture of owner on ****** to which ****** agreed she was wrong & took down pictures. So crazy person now decides to go on BBB site with mental post. I think post speaks for itself. I truly feel sorry for poor dog that has to live with unstable person. We're historically been a grooming location for over 40 years with loyal followers over several generations Thank God for our most loyal & awesome customers!
