I contacted Tennessee home buyers to buy my property in *************** as I didnt want to wait and put it on the market. We signed a contract on June 24 2024 with a closing date of July 10th 2024. It was perfect for us as we already had another place to live for the time being. The inspection is scheduled and the day before it was due back we get a phone saying the closing team is worried their construction team wont be able to get to the house for longer than was expected on their end. Now the deal cant happen on the time line or for the agreed upon price. The only reason stated for lowing the amount of the deal is Tennessee home buyers has bought to many houses recently and doesnt have the time to fix them. Again this has nothing to do with me or this deal. I am currently in the process of asking for the $500 ******* money be given to my as this is no fault of mine and they would have known that they had too much inventory the date the initial contract was signed as its only been 3 days since my wife and I signed.

Per our contract, and all real estate contracts in general, ******* money is put on file with the closing title company. As long as all terms of the contract were upheld, ******* money is returned to the buyer should the contract be terminated for any reason. There is a *********************************************************************************************************** the inspection. As stated by **********************, we did terminate the contract within the period set forth in the contract. That said, his complaint and desired outcome are unreasonable considering he was never owed the $500. Highlighted in the attached contract is the sentence stating "Buyer may terminate this contract and be returned its ******* money if Buyer is dissatisfied with its inspections including the walk-through prior to closing or if Seller is unable to deliver title free and clear of liens and encumbrances."

His complaint is invalid and puts forth an image that we did not uphold our obligations in our contract. Based on that, we're requesting this complaint be removed.

    Good afternoon,

We'd previously reached out to you all about this complaint being invalid due to the terms of our contract, but it appears that was sent as a response to the **********************. Due to the fact that the information posted is inaccurate and not reflective of our actual business practices, we request this complaint not be posted to our profile.

*************************** forwarded a highlighted company of the contract signed by ********************** showing that his complaint did not accurately reflect the agreement he signed.

With previous complaints in the past, we've worked directly with you guys to avoid posts that are completely false to avoid false information being published for the public consumers to see.

Please let me know how we can get this closed and avoid it being posted to our page. You're welcome to reach out directly to myself or *************************** should you need any additional information.

    Thank you.

Only reason I kept getting wasnt that anything additional was found ******* the inspection the only reason they were able to continue with the contract was they thought they were able to do the work as soon as they closed. I have this information in text messages confirmed by an employee of TN home buyer so there was nothing wrong with the house or anything on my end. They are buying to many houses for them to keep up with. Again not my fault or fault of the house. I spoke with a lawyer and they stated we had a case against them but unfortunately it would cost to much to go to court.

We signed a contract to sell a property to TN Home Buyers on June 4, 2024 . Contract says they have 15 days to inspect property. It states they have to put up 500 in ******* money and can get that back if they default only for problems sound during inspection. They never inspected the home but called on June 27, 2024 to say the property to was to far away from them and they were not going to buy it. Then they sent us a document to sign releasing them and us from said contract. When I mentioned the ******* money I have gotten no response.

Contract on home was signed 9/13/22. They told us we had until 10/21/22 to vacate. My husband and I told ****** before the contract was signed that there was an easement issue. The original easement for this property and for the property at **** ****** ****** Rd (also owned by me and my sister) needs to be swapped because the easement for **** crosses over the easement for ***** Before the zoning commission was even a thing, when they were built that was fine, but now that there's a zoning commission, each easement would have to be quit claimed to the other property. We told ****** this twice and was told that wouldn't be an issue because they had people in the closing department that can take care of that. So now it's 9/28/22 and today we got a call from ****** stating that he was only the messenger and Was told to call to let us know they couldn't go through with it because of the easement issue...it would cost the company too much money. At first they gave us one price for them to purchase and then back with a much lower price and we agreed to that, and we've been packing and paying people to slowly move us and we're close to being done and out of here as stated in the contract and now this. There've been a couple of other issues as well that have just made us feel uncomfortable about this company. They aren't above board and completely honest as purported in the first stages of this venture. We are out alot of time and have spent much money trying to make the deadline, not to mention the anxiety and heartache that this has caused.

Consumer Response /* (450, 9, 2022/10/10) */ ***Document Attached*** Yes, I have heard from the company. Yes, I am satisfied that the company is making efforts to resolve the issues. I actually wrote to ***********@gobbb.org last week on Oct. 6, 2022 and asked that the case be closed because we are in contact with ****** **** who is currently working on this with us. The following is the content of my email: I wanted to make you aware that TN Homebuyers' managing partner, ****** ****, has contacted and visited us in an effort to work with us on this matter. We are going to try to work with them toward a resolution. Thank you. At this time I would like to ask you, the BBB, to please remove the complaint that I lodged against them.
