    I renewed my membership because I was supposed to get 50% off if I paid it on an annual basis. I contacted the business and they said it was only for new customers or people that were changing from paying month-to-month to annual. However, it prompted me to pay on a certain date or after to get the 50% discount so I waited till that day December 28 to do so. I feel like the business should have said you are not eligible for this promotion when I clicked on it.

    I signed up for an account on 12/4/24 with the impression I would receive access to a paramount plus subscription. It clearly stated that prior to signing up. Now they are stating I can only get it if I pay double the original introductory cost. I want a refund or access to paramount which was supposed to be granted after signing up. They are refusing to issue a refund and demanding double payment if I want access to what we already promised.

    My subscription was automatically renewed without notification. I emailed them, per their instructions, to cancel but never received any reply. I called to cancel and seek reimbursement of the subscription cost, $115.19, and they refused to reimburse the cost. They stated that their policy is that they do not reimburse for subscription cancellations.

    I renewed my annual subscription on Oct 3 (*****) to the ** premium site known as Peegs. Shortly after, the moderation on the board became unbearable, the reporting became increasingly sporadic and with a clear bias. Regular reports or updates stopped coming in on time or at all. I decided I wanted to cancel.There is no option to get a refund prorated for the 11 months I do not want to use- they want to force me into paying for service that has gone down in both quality and quantity. Even if they wanted to refund all but 9.99 (their month by month subscription rate) that would be a fair solution, but they want to lock me into something I have zero use for. Please email ********************* with any updates)I sent them an email requesting a cancellation and prorated refund and did not get a response (they might have sent to my old email) but when I called today (10/21) They said I agreed to a no refund policy in the terms of service. Well, I am not asking for a refund of services I have used, I am asking them to actually bill me for the only month I used and return the balance of my payment. I do not think this is unreasonable.

    I was banned without reason on the 247sports *** website. At a minimum I deserve an explanation and should be allowed to dispute it with the owner, and I'm hopeful the BBB will arbitrate the matter. Also, I should be reimbursed in full for not being able to utilize the premium membership benefits, for which I paid for annually, $75.18. This money will likely not be remitted absent intervention by the BBB, which is theft. Just as importantly, and to reiterate, I expect an apology and a reasonable opportunity to dispute the matter with the site owner, which seems only fair. Thank you.

    First off, I never received an explanation as to why I was banned commensurate with 247 Sports board posting normalities, which was consistent with myriad other unbanned posters, nor why I was singled out. Secondly, the 247 Sports website owner DID NOT explain why I was banned when my posts were consistent with site subscribers. Yes, I asked and was ignored. Thirdly, I have yet to find any evidence of a refund. In addition, 247 Sports HQ Nashville NEVER responded to my request for an explanation, but instead simply punted to 247 Sports WVU. Finally, I deserve compensation for the weeks I could not use the site while going through this process. All Im asking for is arbitration where I can provide evidence of being singled out in a capricious and arbitrary way. This doesnt seem like too much to ask. I am a retired AF ***, 63 years old, and have never filed a complaint in all my years absent this one website (and apparently one person who seems to have it out for me). Its truly mystifying. Again, I am sincerely grateful for your time and efforts on my behalf. RespectfullyMike Anson

    I am rejecting this response because it I'm being singled out. It is simply unfair, and I've supported that allegation with the attachment. I am grateful for your support in this matter as I haven't filed a complaint against anyone in my 63 years other than this one website and owner, who apparently has some personal vendetta against me that is mystifying. This explains why I've been rather persistent in resolving the matter, which, in my opinion, requires arbitration.

    The main administrator of the *** site sent the customer a direct message on the site explaining the reasoning behind his timeout on October 9, 2024.  

    Additionally, a refund was issued on October 9, 2024, to the credit card used to purchase the subscription. Sometimes, refunds can take 7-10 business days to be posted to the account, which is why the customer may not have seen it yet.

    I have been trying to cancel a subscription to 247 Sports since 2022. I get a monthly charge in my credit card. I have contacted them by email, using their contact form (which doesnt work), and directly by phone. When I reach representatives by phone, they tell me that the subscriptions can only be cancelled once per year. I have fallen for this twice but I am still not cancelled. I am still being charged. I am livid. How can I stop this?

    We checked and the only subscription that we found for **** **** was an annual subscription to *******************. That annual subscription was canceled when **** **** contacted our support line at 247Sports by phone on 6/25/2024. At that time, she was made aware of our non-refund policy. Our non-refund policy was mentioned a second time when **** **** contacted our support line at 247Sports by phone on 9/25/2024. At this point, we will make a ONE time exception and issue a full refund for the 2024 subscription charge.

    I had previously requested cancellation before cancellation period ended. I sent request on Friday afternoon and they acknowledged Monday after they had charged my card. They told me it was too late to cancel but it was t when I sent the request Friday. Its not my fault they didnt see it until after the new billing cycle. Terms and conditions stipulate that I can cancel before contract ended which was Saturday and I requested this Friday.

    I had a sports program through 247 Sports. I canceled my renewal payment but unfortunately was a day late. When I contacted customer service they said on refunds after renewal date. Deep (customer service agent) was adamant about no refunds. I had been dealing with my wifes health problems and missed the cancel date. I feel one day late is not fair. We are on a fixed income and ****** dollars. I would like a refund to my credit card.

    Over a year ago I signed up for a 1-year 247sports.com subscription. There is no option to opt-out of an automatic renewal. The business gave zero notice that the subscription would automatically renew and withdraw $107.40 from my debit card. My ONLY notice was after the funds had been withdrawn. Upon contacting the company, I was informed that their policy is "no refunds". The support person, *******, told me I had no recourse, and that I was supposedly notified via email ONCE on June 3, 2024. I searched my email and I did not receive any notification. This is literally theft.

    I have been a customer of ********************** for several years, but this year I've decided to cancel my membership and move on. I went on the website and submitted to cancel my subscription on more than one occasion to ensure it was not automatically renewed on 5/31/2024. I recently received an email on Friday 5/31/2024 that my membership has been renewed automatically. By the time I could call them they were closed. I submitted an email the very next morning to cancel and request a refund and never heard back from them. I called on the following Monday just to be told they would not reimburse my money even though I had notified them within 24 hours that I no longer wanted a membership. The customer representative kept telling me that I overlooked the agreement. I informed him of my many attempts to request a cancellation before renewal, be he simply didn't care and blamed it on me. I think 247Sports has the worst costumer service and running a scam of blaming and trapping customers into yearly contracts to make money. Even more of a reason to leave them and never go back. My next step is to cancel my credit card on file so I don't get trapped again in 12-months. Stay away!
