I have bought at least 3 high-end firearms ($4K+) on their layaway program - mainly - because I don’t want to incur debt. I have never had an issue. Their layaway policy is clear, and their communication is excellent. Most folks in these negative reviews don’t honor the agreement, and they want to blame the seller for their lack of integrity. It is a real shame. Thankfully, there are gun stores like Gun Crew that are willing to front their capital to allow folks to buy firearms they could not otherwise afford in a single purchase.Review from Tim A

Great people at TGC and exceptional opportunities to buy nice and sometimes special new guns at fair prices, often below what one might expect to pay. I've been a customer since they opened and have done a lot of business with them. They know their guns too which is a huge plus! I've never had a problem and continue to recommend them to all interested in firearms. Following the rules and keeping commitments pays benefits - just saying.Review from Andrew C

Tracked my old service pistol down and found out they had it. Told them the serial number (old old gen 2 glock 17) and physically described the gun to them. Told them it was my old service pistol and wanted to buy it back from them. They said they wanted $650 for it. I tried to ask them to come down a little as police trade ins go for 375 and less. They would not budge and did not care I used to carry it. They said, “that’s what they go for.” I call *** they are all over gun broker for 325-350 but because it had sentimental value to me I begrudgingly paid the price. If a beaten up gen 2 with scratches and gouges, and the blueing coming off goes for that much I wonder what a brand new one goes for. The gun is beaten to ****, but it’s my old gun. Still has the carbon from the last time I qualified with it. Definitely won’t do business again. Best of luck to those who do.Review from Ron D

I have now purchased multiple times from them using their layaway option and have had no problems at all. They were very professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. Everything went perfectly smooth! I would not hesitate to purchase from them in the future and have recommended them to both friends and family! After looking through these bad reviews.. I can clearly see that these individuals were the ones at fault, and not The Gun Crew! Don't hesitate to deal with this company!Review from Zachary W

Shady business, at least on gunbroker they are. They have a bot on there out bidding people until they hit the desired amount which is against gunbrokers rules.

This is a fabrication. We don't use bots and wouldn't even know how to implement such if we wanted!!!! Where is your proof??? You don't have any. The truth is you simply didn't want to pay as much for an item as someone else did.Review from Taylor O

These guys are terrible. They had 30 something pictures of a gun posted for sale. Being that I could not see and hold a firearm, I appreciated being able to have as thorough an inspections as is allowed on the web. Well when I won the bid, they sent a totally different serial nunber! This one had a couple small cosmetic flaws. The owner ridiculed me when I told him I expected to get the fun photographed, basically called me a fool. They also kept my review of them from being posted on gunbroker which makes me dubious of that sites review system as well. AVOIDThe Gun Crew, LLC Response

Gunbroker removed your review as it was unwarranted and you were offered a refund. There was no ridicule involved and the buyer tried to extort money from us to upgrade the feedback. Gunbroker doesn't allow bidders to use extortion as a means of getting an item for less.Review from Jonathan C

Would give 0 stars if i could. They misrepresent their products on their auctions and then take weeks to get back to you to try and fix it. They didnt hear from me for not even 4 days and continued to file a NPB after telling me they would call me once they figured out a solution. Add ended on gunbroker (sucks) but tgc was still able to make the sale possible not to mention the item was restricted to a degree in my state,and with the help tgc I was able to obtain it legally where I reside. ******** had an item on layway. He ghosted us for 4 months without payment and communication. We had to relist the item because he didn't abide by the layaway terms of making a payment at least 1 a month. Have a bit more accountability on your own actions or lack thereof action.Review from Gary S

They are very helpful and provide great service. I was late on my layaway payment and they allowed me to catch up on the payment even though they could have forfeited my account.
