I purchased 3 mini cows from this farm June 2 2024 I drove 300 miles picked them up one was coughing which I asked about the farm told me highlanders do when you run them . I got 100 miles away noticed the spots on the one cow phoned them and ask about owner said didnt see them and vet never said nothing . Got home the black/white one that had spots on faces had ringworm and was spreading all over her rear end. I asked to see the vets check up and they refused to give me this after being confronted. one had diarrhea and was lice infested started to get weak which they told me it was from hauling them and the other had the cough which ended up being a upper respiratory virus phenomenon. I addressed all these to the farm and they told me I was accusing them of selling sick cows and that I would get them where they would be healthy and how I wanted them I basically got told all my problem. I treated all of them through my vet giving me the proper meds for all 3 I separated them best I could but my only steer cow I have owned for 5 yrs never sick a day contacted the upper respiratory virus and I ended up loosing a 900lb butcher steer I treated hard with ******** loved ************************************************************************************************************************************************************ it which is why the one had ringworm and pretty much blamed me even when I called them day I bought the cows and the next day with what I found I only asked to be compensated because it was there cattle that caused the death of my only cow. I also stated to them I told you of all this when I got home and didnt expect to loose a healthy cow due to sick cattle I bought from them and paid alot for First 3 pics are ringworm cow and 4 pic is of the 3 that I bought and my steer which is the healthy red one just two days after getting them home pic was taking The rest are of my steer and condition he got before he diedBusiness response

**************** reached out to our farm via a post advertising various types of livestock on ********* She requested pricing of both mini cows and mini donkeys. She requested prices on a couple different mini cows and asked us to price a couple cows as a package deal. We offered for her to have a video call to view the animals before making the trip to our farm. We had two video calls with the animals prior to her arrival. She then came to our farm with her husband and viewed the animals and our farm for over an hour. We answered any questions they might have had. Her husband told me that he had been around cattle most his life on big ranches indicating he was very familiar with cattle.
The cow that **************** claimed had ringworm had been viewed by our vet and there was no signs of ringworm. As a livestock dealer we have to take ringworm very seriously because it is an extremely contagious disease. **************** had multiple chances to view the cow but them claimed later that she noticed it an hour later after leaving our farm. She signed a bill of sale containing a waiver understanding that the cow was purchased as is. It is interesting that even though she claimed the cow had ringworm none of her other cows every contracted this highly contagious disease. She even put the cow in the field beside her steer as soon as they got home (see attached picture.) These cows had direct access to each other. No livestock owner, especially one with the experience they claimed to have, would knowingly place a sick cow with a healthy one. Her claims of her having ringworm when we sold her is false. Im not sure where or if the cow contracted ringworm but it was not from our farm. All cows that come to the farm are vaccinated and wormed (including lice treatment as a preventative.) We quarantine all animals that arrive on the farm.
The other cow that they purchased did have a cough. We told her that the cow only coughed when it had to run, we provided her a list of things we had done to treat the cough, and explained to her that the cow had not been seen by a vet since the cough but that we had treated the cough under the directions of a vet via a phone call. We never once told her that we had paperwork from a vet clearing the cow because we only obtain such paperwork for transporting or at the request of the customer. She was provided all information prior to the sale and she acknowledged that the animal was purchased as is by signing the bill of saie.
She then called us *************************************************************** layed eyes upon because it had died. She was unable to provide any proof that that the animals she purchased caused her steer to die.
In conclusion, her claims of us lying to her are not true. We provided two video calls and over an hour to inspect the animals. They indicated that they were very knowledgeable about cattle and we answered whatever question they had. She accepted the animals and signed knowing that there was no refunds and that she was buying "as is" as indicated under Tennessee state law. If her claims are true, she did not take any precaution to quarantine or restrict contact with her previously owned cattle which is common knowledge among even the most basic livestock operations. She was unable to prove her steer died because of a cow that she purchased from us. All of the cattle we sold her are all alive and in good health according to her last communication with her.

In response to rawly Mae farms they lied and I only had one video call ( pic one)not 2 as they claim and when we did the call she was unable to even get up close to show the issue of cows as far as them claiming they never laid eyes on my steer is a lie I sent them a pic to prove the steer was separate and on other side of fence from there cows . I also only had limited space and did my best to separate them and give them shade as it was in the 90 and sick as they where did all I could and we are not newbies to cows but when u drive 4 hrs away and come home with as many issues these cows had it was hard and which was my complaint to her the next day her husband went as far as to accuse me of having ringworm on my trailer and my steer was already sick which I have neighbors that will testify that ***** was never sick a day in five years I owned him. And when I asked to talk to the vet that claims she didnt have ringworm he hung up on me pic 2 shows fence and my steer. I have attached pic 3 as proof from me digging on the internet they sell sick cows and people have lost them proof they do this to a lot of people Im one. When I asked them to compensate me on just a portion of my loss they pretty much said sorry you signed contract and I have many text proving I said something about condition of the cows and I feel they should retain sick cows for 30 days and give a vet check along with the contract especially if buying auction cattle they dont want them no longer then possible on there place reason quick sales I what some compensation as I had to not only deal with saving there sick cows and not loose my 8 k on them I ended up losing my butcher steer of 1000lbs of meat for my family they are responsible for this loss and should do right by what happened and I want others to not go thru this like I have they are guilty and I sent proof where Im not only one and the lady that was defending them came to my place and even admitted her calf 2 where coughing when she bought them more proof.
