I have been in the process of buying a double wide from Clayton homes. I never got to choose my title company or lender Clayton did. This is their suppose lender whose address is sketchy. Lender told me from the beginning I would have 215k loan with 2.75 interest rate. We are 3-5 wks of my house being finished and he calls telling me he never locked in my interest rate. I had paperwork sent to my home called the lender he said it's the same thing we discussed 215k loan and this is how much we're using and 2.75 interest never thought about it. Opening the papers I discovered it does in fact say he never locked so he hid it from me and lied basically. He is constantly asking for my personal bank statements and pay stubs and I've provided 4 weeks of paystubs and 4 months of statements. This lender has a no caller id he never calls me or tells me anything. Constantly Changing things making me feel this is a sketchy process and I'm scared that he and his team are out to get me for money because I'm young and this is my first home. From the start I told him my max was $800 and he said no problem Mr. Miller you are the customer and with your credit I'm sure your safe. My payment was set to 780 something. I feel this lender has been lying to me so he can get his people at Clayton a higher commission. Also to mention this picture below is wrong because Clayton blamed my realtor for not sending a sales agreement because Clayton put the wrong price down on property so instead of 147,00 it's now 155,000 and I never received a packet of the correction. Please help me in anyway I want my payment to where it was agreed upon and the interest that I was told by lender was fine and would be that. Now 3-5 weeks project is done now he calls and says by the way your interest rate isn't this and payment will be higher?
