In August 2022 I paid this company $9200,00 for a new American Standard heat pump system. I have had to call Brad the owner, twice since then. First it was believed to be a thermostat issue. Then on 12/23/22 my heat pump quit working. I called Brad ***** numerous times and he finally answered and said he had "busted" his shoulder and could/would not help me. I called numerous heating and air conditioning companies to no avail since I did not buy the unit from them. My house was 40 degrees and I had to leave fearing that I would freeze to death since this was the time temperatures had fallen to single degrees. I went to Holiday Inn and stayed until 12/26/22 at that time a local company Ashton ***** who dispatched a repair person for emergency repairs. The technician determined that the emergency hit was not wired in. It could not allow the heat pump to heat. I had to spend Christmas in the holiday inn. I was afraid to go to my family in North Carolina or Anderson County due to I was afraid that my house would start having water pipes to burst and flood my home. In view of the heat pump emergency heat to even been wired in at all I have asked Brad ***** the owner of Air Flow Engineering to reimburse me for the cost of the emergency repairs to a brand new heat pump that I had paid $9200 in August not even 4 months installed. Also for the nights at the Holiday Inn. I have sent a certified letter to Brad on December 29th,22 and he did not sign for the letter until 1/9/23 right before the Post Office returned to me. I think it was more that fair for Brad to reimburse me. If I had stayed in my home I could/would have frozen to death. Other that the original call on 12/23/22 Brad ***** will not take me calls for discuss this with me.
