Let me just start off by saying Mr. ***** is a liar and a thief. On 11/01/22 I brought my van into Perry automotive and asked him if he could run a diagnostic and see what codes it showed and fix it from there. I then said all I’m looking for is someone honest because I’m tired of always being ripped off. After 3 or 4 God Bless you's he convinced me that I was in good hands. I then proceeded to tell him that if we do decide to work on it that the inside cover would need to be removed and told him the easiest way. But that was to be removed only if we decided to go forward. I also showed him a temperature sending unit that was finger tight, right next to the battery and a 5 minute fix. He said he didn’t have a unit handy and I said not to worry about it that I would fix that because it wasn’t that big of an issue. Well when I came back the next day I’m expecting to pay for the diagnostic $120. So when I walk in I ask what he found out. He said basically nothing and he was playing a guessing game. He then said he didn’t fix anything except to screw that sending unit in. He then hands me a bill for $362.30. I looked at it and asked him what this was all about. He said he happened to find a sending unit in the back somewhere and charged me $40.00 for the part and $100 dollars to put it in after I said not too. He then says that he took the inside cover off so if he could see anything wrong. I said why did you do that and just what did you learn that you couldn’t learn from that diagnostic? He said nothing. I said precisely. Now it only takes 10-15 minutes to take that cover off at the most but what really pisses me off is he charged me an hour for the sending unit and an hour for the cover when both together are a 30 minute job but I didn’t notice that part til I started doing my taxes. I then said well at any other dealership the diagnostic charge is dropped if you do work on it. He looked at me and said I don’t believe in that. I then said are you going to deduct some of this off here or not since you clearly cheated me? He said no I don’t believe in that either. When I told him I thought I was being cheated he looked right at me and said God Bless you!

"My tech and I did our best to make this customer happy. We did as much for this customer as we do for our other customers. My company's online presence speaks for itself, but sometimes you just can't please everyone. The customer himself set up the scenario that made it impossible to make him happy."
