On August 8th during a traffic stop my car was impounded by police. There was a delay in being able to get all my paperwork updated due to the majority of DMV's seeing customers on an appointment basis only. By September 2nd the car had been repossessed by Drivrz Financial and taken to a different lot (while the car was only 23 days late). I immediately began the redemption process because of a bad experience in the past with them. I quickly gathered all documents they required of me and sent them in with $600 (slightly above what representative asked for) in money orders overnight. After the documents and money was received I was told they were added to my account and I had to call back in 24 hours for more information. After waiting over 36 hours I called again to find out more money and documents are requested of me. Ironically they only accept payments via money orders when your account is late, and only accept documents via fax. I have sent the same documents physically and by fax and they keep asking for them over and over. At this point I haven't had my car in over a month and its taking Drivrz Financial almost a week to get me a breakdown of the additional fees I owe. Days are adding on the tow yard as Drivrz Financial constantly loses documents or doesn't properly communicate what documents they need. I do not think Drivrz Financial has made a concerted effort to remedy this problem at all. Account #4032 ***They use outdated methods of communication and collecting payments which gives them leeway to operate in fashion that they do. Low credit customers BEWARE. I was also informed that the contract is actually lease instead of a purchase, VERY VERY predatory. Save the cash or get a preapproval through a real bank, PLEASE.

Business Response /* (1000, 7, 2022/10/07) */ Drivrz remains committed to providing great customer service to its customers. As Ms. ******* states in her complaint, the vehicle at issue was impounded by the police and Drivrz, as lessor, received notice of the impound. Drivrz attempted to contact the borrower to confirm she would be recovering the vehicle, but was unable to reach her. As a result, Drivrz had to quickly act to recover the vehicle, per its internal policy, in an effort to avoid a foreclosure of the impound lot's possessory lien which would have resulted in the loss of the vehicle likely without compensation to either Drivrz or Ms. *******. As a result, Drivrz was forced to advance significant costs to the impound lot to compensate it for its expenses. These advanced amounts had to be reimbursed by Ms. ******* under the terms of the contract. Drivrz has continued to work with Ms. ******* to return the vehicle and the vehicle was returned on September 15th. Drivrz believes this complaint has been addressed and resolved.

DEALERS BEWARE !!!!! # I've been doing business with MUSA/Drivrz for over 4 years. I was one of their Dealers when they did their deal with Tesla; which caused them to lose their funding and left dealers holding the bag for months until they could pay them. Luckily, I wasn't one that time. Now they've been bought, AGAIN, and they seem to be having money issues again. FAIR WARNING TO DEALERS DOING BUSINESS WITH DRIVRZ. If you have or have ever had any early charge offs, they are refusing to pay you on current deals until you pay off their early charge offs. This is in direct violation of their Dealer Agreement and is fairly close to breaking the law. Their Dealer Agreement explicitly states that we must repurchase deals if they have found any fraud on deals. Not just because they bought a deal that charged off in their portfolio. Aren't you in the auto finance business?? Or is it something bigger?? Are you having money problems again and can't meet your Dealers demands?????
