  I paid ***** to do my fence and turf and he has not done it. Always makes excuses as to why he doesnt show up. I have given him so many chances. And now I want my money back. Now he threatens me with a lawyer and stoped answering my texts and calls because I asked for my money back.?

  ******* Latham or ***** Latham, who operates under Latham Extreme LLC, provided a quote for a number of projects at our home in late October 2023. My husband gave him approval a few days later to proceed with several of the projects. ***** requested a $30,000 deposit to start which my husband promptly paid. ***** agreed to complete the projects by late November 2023; however, he had barely started at Thanksgiving and had selected plants without approval or any plan to install. He vouched to be a landscaping company but its clear he had no experience. To date, he still has unplanted plants sitting in one of our beds. Currently, we have learned that the little tile work repairs were not done correctly and can not be undone. Days, weeks, a month went by with very little to no work being done. ***** said he had completed work when he had not. He made one excuse after another. We gave him many opportunities to do the work but nothing happened. After Christmas, we told him we were done with his false promises and no longer wanted him to do the work and requested a refund. He said he would give us a refund but that is proving to be another false statement. He said he needs to get the money together. He has had almost two weeks to refund the money. We did not ask him how much he was going to refund as we had hoped he would do what was fair and right. He did about $5k of work. He is not answering my calls and has blocked me from his ******** and ability to leave a review. My husband is battling cancer and receiving chemo and this has caused both of us great stress. We have been robbed. It will cost more money to get the work done because of the mess ***** left. Also, I found several other really bad reviews of ***** or Latham Extreme online.
