  in feburary 2021 chris at Alexander Automotive said he could go some preventive maintance because my truck had a lot of miles this model is known to have timing issues and he said he can put a timing chain in hor four hundred dollars it took him three months to dtart on it because he kept having a recal on another vehicle.The four hundred turned into 1100 dollars he said he bought the cheapest part online that he could find excelt for the phazers which he said he got at ford. he said he watch the youtube video and thought it waz gunna be easy but after buying the timing chain kit had doubts about the integrity of it do to the reviews. He called me said he was ton and I went and got it huy the time I got home it sounded like a sewing machine he suggested it needed vct selanoids so I went and bought them sumone helped me with them but the problem was getting worse .He said ty changing spark p,ugs so I did four but it was still getting worse he said give him sumtime to catch up he would redo the work he put me off month after month and the pandemic hit and then he got covid everytime I asked him I think he got it three times so kore months went by and he would take my bumber but somthing always delade him .He has had my unkles car three years and hasbt started on it yet.my truck is undrivable since that day he worked .I try and be patient id go by and samething he would take my name and he was gunna make it right id see him again and again still just couldbt get to it. he worked on my 2007 f150 lariat 4 by 4 which I got bdcause I never had a vehicle that nice before and now it sits with brandnew tires rustinHe even told my unkle he knows he messed it up I talked to him the other day and he said he has done a couple timing jobs since then and thinks he can fix it.I've been without a truck since he worked on it. I paid him to break ky truck he blames it on the pandemic slowing him down but other people have told ke sories similar about this shop

  The business indicated to BBB that he had been in contact with the consumer directly when he received notice of the complaint from BBB. He currently has the truck in his possession and will begin working on it his week. He has communicated with the consumer a plan to try and repair the vehicle as well as any costs. It is his understanding that the consumer is satisfied with the efforts.
