I had a consultation on December 18th to discuss weight loss at the House of Health. The Nurse practitioner there stated that the first dose would be 0.25 mg to introduce the medicine to my body and then the next dose would be 0.5 mg. While waiting to pay in the waiting room there was a TV with an ad for the house of health stating first month $400.00 vs $600.00. When I asked about it at the front counter the lady stated that is old (no date on ad). I responded that isn’t it by law that if you are advertising it and it’s in your office that you have to abide by it. The lady made a call and it was changed to $400. On December 24th, I went to pick up my next dose and was told that it would remain 0.25 mg and that the nurse practitioner was not there. When I told them this is what I was told they said that he would not be back till January. About 2 hours later Melinda called me and stated that her team does not fill confident in me and was not given a reason why, I know it is because I ask questions and hold people accountable. I believe a full refund is needed as they did not hold up any of their statements.

On the initial consultation, we applied the full service plan as discussed, which included a discounted rate of $400.00 for the month of treatment, contingent upon the patient being a suitable candidate for the prescribed regimen. The treatment plan outlined was to administer 2.5mg of Tirzepatide for one month, with the understanding that the dosage would remain consistent throughout the duration of that month.

Upon the patient’s return for their second dose, that the nurse practitioner explained in initial consult, according to our protocol, the patient would continue with the 2.5mg Tirzepatide dose weekly injection for the remainder of the month. However, the patient expressed disagreement, stating they had been informed that they would be receiving 5.0 mg of Tirzepatide starting in the second week. That what exactly is that dose supposed to do with that?

The Medical Staff clarified the treatment plan with the patient, reiterating that the correct course of action was to maintain the 2.5mg Tirzepatied dosage for the full month, as outlined in the initial consultation. Following this discussion, the patient opted to discontinue treatment.

As a resolution, the Medical Staff refunded the patient $205.08 on December 20, 2024 refunded back to the card used at purchese at 10:09am, representing the cost for two injections, since the patient had already received two doses prior to the disagreement, and had two additional injections left on their account.

We regret that there was a miscommunication regarding the treatment plan and are committed to ensuring that future interactions are clear and consistent with patient expectations.
