Consumers state they have received a check from a company by the name of Pablo Energy II, LLC, attempting to purchase items that have been listed for on varios websites. The checks received by consumers are for amounts well over the asking price. They ask that you return the excess amount to them via a wire transfer service. The check is not valid. Consumers should not attempt to cash or deposit the check because it is counterfeit and it would be returned from the bank leaving the consumer responsible for repayment of the check. Officials from Pablo Energy II, LLC are aware of the scam.
