Not 24-7, 8-4 M-F If Your Need Parts, Plus Installation Delay ****** has a great crew of service technicians, and new unit installation crews - both of which I have used recently, and many times in the past - going back over 20 years. However, a recent experience illustrates a very serious problem. My A/C unit blower quit about 2:00 PM on Wednesday, August 21st, when the temperature in ****** was 107. I called ******, and a service technician was there before 4:00; and he soon determined that my Trane unit needed a new blower motor. He called it in to his office sometime just after 4:00 PM, and he said that my unit would probably be back in service tomorrow or Friday. The next morning, Thursday, ****** called to say that they could order the part if I approved the cost. On Friday, I called to see if the part had arrived, and was told that it had not. I was also told that if it arrived on Saturday or Sunday, they would be closed. Other companies have the part shipped directly to the customer's address to avoid this problem; so a technician can install it ASAP.On Monday, after five days with no A/C, I called to see if the part had arrived. I was told that It was expected from ***** at 11-2; but installation would not be possible until Tuesday at ******* that point I inquired about replacing the 10-year-old unit. It could be scheduled for 8:00 AM on Tuesday. Out of desperation, I opted for a new unit, which everything went smoothly - finished by noon.Advertising 24/7 service, without warning of many days of possible delay if any parts are needed - IS NOT RIGHT!Stan's Heating, Air and Plumbing Response

I had Stans come out for routine maintenance. The technician did not patch the holes he put into the **** system to do diagnostics. He also made many, roughly 6 in each unit. He also left the Halo system unsealed resulting in an extreme leakage. A week after he left our upstairs unit was no longer cooling. This is when I went in to the attic and found how they had left the **** units.I called and the sent the same technician back out. He placed some tape over the holes, missed two holes and didn't seal the Halo unit. I called a competitor out and they found they properly sealed all the holes and the Halo unit. When they checked the outdoor units, they found that our 2 year old Trane system only had 1.5 lbs. of refrigerant. They checked all all the coils for leaks and there weren't any. They filled it up and it cost $450. I called Stans and asked for a complete refund for the maintenance package I paid for. They sent me a check for 1/2 because they came out and serviced the unit.Stan's Heating, Air and Plumbing Response

Should be zero stars. 1 year old house and the air conditioner motor burnt out. Was told it would be no later than today that it would be repaired. Not to mention, the heat index outside is 116 degrees. Called them this morning and they are now saying they have no idea why I was told no later than today. They have no idea when the part will be received from the manufacturer. Their advertisements say to call them in the case of emergency, but they do not feel this is an emergency even though upstairs it is 93 degrees and downstairs 85. The girl that answered the phone was not helpful and of course no supervisor was available. Awful experience.Review from Audrey S

****'s installed a new HVAC for me 5+ weeks ago and it has had a smell ever since. There was an error in the installation that had to be resolved on day 3 as well, and they brought the wrong size return air grille which I was told I will now have to wait months for. I've called multiple times a week since the unit has been smelling, had 3 different technicians out, and there is zero sense of any interest from ****'s to resolve the issue. I've left unreturned messages for multiple individuals over the last several weeks. Someone was supposed to come out today and they no-showed the appointment. I called the office and spoke to someone, the technician then called with no apology. ****'s is perfect for you if you like abysmal customer service and like having to call multiple times a week to resolve issues on a unit you paid over $10k for.Review from Jeff G

Stans installed all my HVAC and plumbing in my house I built 5 years ago. I have had to replace the whole AC system along with having another plumber find the problem with my heater that Stans has try to fix for each winter for 5 years. In addition I have already had to replace multiple plumbing items in the house. The last straw was when my garbage disposal was leaking and the person that came out said the unit had to be replaced for $1500. He was speaking Spanish to his co-worker which my friend understood him saying he was just going get me to replace it since he did not even try to figure out the problem. I ended up calling another plumber and he tightened the screws. My cost due to Stans defective and poorly installed items has cost me $7500 AC system $150 for fixing the faulty wiring to the air mover $125 to fix the garbage disposal $185 to replace the toilet bowl I have many other expenses, but did not keep track nor receipts of all of them.Review from Clara W

If you use this company, you better have deep pockets. I had a water pressure valve installed. Didn't read the contract close enough. My bad. I was charged $166.00 for a 6" valve box cover. Checked the prices at ******. They sell for $16.00. Called ****'s thinking it may be a computer error. Have not heard back. Buyer reware.Review from Kayla L

Terrible service. Every single time they come out, they tell us the ** is fine and then eventually stops working all together. Theyre lazy, incompetent, and not worth your time. Find someone whos actually going to do their job instead of s******* around because they ultimately dont want to do the work. Not someone who is going to say put water on it. If you want your ** fixed the FIRST TIME you call someone, call someone else. Because this company will have to come back multiple times before the issue is fixed, every single timeassuming they dont break your system the way they did with our main drain line, and then say its your fault. Its not worth the money. And then, when you call customer service, theyre argumentative and sarcastic and rude and will tell you to go fix it yourself. If you look at their replies to these reviews, you can literally see them dismiss their customers and become argumentative. They refuse to take accountability for their poor service. There was only one girl (*******) who was actually helpful during our entire time working with them. They are unprofessional, rude, argumentative, lazy, liars. Spend your money somewhere else.
