On or about July 6 2021 Travis County Appliance repaired the compressor to the Subzero freezer section. It guaranteed the part and labor for 6 months. $2700 charge. I had not been to house since then end of November 21 until on or about January 9, 22. I called company and was told that if it was the compressor it would still be covered under the warranty. 2 techs arrived on or about Jan 14 and said the compressor was okay, it was another part that needed to be replaced. The part was ordered and on Jan 27, 22 I was advised part arrived and could be installed first week of February. Another ice storm was scheduled and as I live on a hill scheduled for installation on February 10. The tech installed part, and said would take anywhere from 15 mins to 4 hours to start to work. Told if did not come on in 4 hours call and someone would return that afternoon waited four hours and freezer not working. called company and told no one could come until Morning of 11.On Friday Feb 11 a new tech (turns out owner) and I said good morning. Thank you for coming. I offered him a cup of coffee. He was very gruff from when he walked in to my home. He asked where the cut off button to sub zero. I did not know He then asked where the box was for the subzero and took him where the breakers were outside. He turned off lights to the house. then called me and said it was the compressor that was not working and was angry but said IT WOULD BE COVERED under the warranty. He would order part that day and likely could install feb 17. He was so attacking and he then stormed out my door, I followed to tell him the name of the person and contact to meet for the repair as I could not be in ****** that day or for 2 weeks. He just said do you want the repairs or not and I said yes I do sir. *** He will not return my calls or texts. A colleague who was to meet on the 11 tried and reachedthe company and he was told by the owner it would not do any more work for me.
