    I had labs drawn at CPL and paid for them there. There was a collection error so the lab ****** them and did not charge me. I received a bill from CPL and paid it, but then realized it was for this collection error. I visited the lab that **** the blood and they told me my chart said it was a recollect and I should not have been charged.I have emailed CPL about this multiple times and they take literally months to respond and have finally concluded "there is no evidence of a CPL ******* Their own lab told me it should not have been charged!!This was billed in error, I paid in error, verified this and noticed them as soon as I realized it. They have taken literally months to fail to do a proper investigation to uncover their error and provided absolutely zero resolution as well as incorrect information.

    I have been working for 15 months to resolve a bill with Cascade Cytopathology ****************** of ******, ******, now a part of Sonic Healthcare USA. They improperly billed me for two lab tests, so I had to get my health insurance company to reprocess the claim. Ultimately, their two charges totaled $146.95, the insurer applied a discount of $58.10 and reimbursed the lab $88.85.I received no bill until over a YEAR after the date of service. Then, I received a text message with no provider name or date of service. Only by calling my doctor's ****** did I figure out it might be this lab. Then, there was no phone # to reach them at. Regardless, I worked with my insurer to have the lab reimbursed, which they were. Now, again, months later, they have sent me a bill for $88.85. Clearly, this has already been paid to them by the insurance company. I would have been happy to rectify the billing error had I received any notice, any invoice, any communication at all from this company. Now, they are part of Sonic Healthcare USA. That's great ... but this balance was paid months ago. I should not be receiving a bill. If you search Cascade Cytopathology ***************** in ******, ****** on Yelp, there are nine other people who were mis-billed. The doctor's ******--**********************--also acknowledged that the lab has had repeated errors with many of their patients. Apparently, they are required to use the lab.

    Issued an HSA check for $38.61 on June 16, 2022. CytoPath (Sonic Healthcare) deposited the check on 6/17/2022. As of 10/6/2022, they have not cleared the $38.61 balance from account ***********. Upon receiving a past-due notice in August, talked with a cust svc rep and emailed a copy of the deposited *********** explained this was a back-office issue and it would be resolved in a few weeks. Called again on 9/21/2022 due to balance still not cleared. I advised cust svc rep that we would not pay a second (unrelated) bill of $43.61 until the $38.61 balance due is cleared. I am resorting to a BBB complaint since nothing else is working - this should have been cleared two months ago. I would like the $38.61 balance cleared and a mailed paid-in-full statement. I can supply copies of the bill and deposited check if needed (these have already been supplied to CytoPath).
