            Lawncare provider took $500 downpayment on materials for backyard irrigation project 6 months ago, and has been non-communicative and a no-show ever since.We did contact the owner **** who then promised multiple times to return and complete the project and failed to, then promised a refund that he never did, then continually missed promised dates to return followed by full non-responsive "ghosting" to emails and texts

            I paid a deposit of $2,307.00 to **** Lung, owner of West End Landcare on Jan. 9, ********************************************************* He was a no-show several times to complete the work, which was supposed to begin the week of Jan. 12. I have a text thread from January 9 - May 12 asking **** to confirm the start date several times throughout the four month-period, him committing to starting the project, and then not showing up and not responding to me for weeks at a time. I finally asked him for my deposit back on May 12. He stated via text on May 20 that he would refund me. He did not. On May 23 he said he was making a transfer from another account and would refund me ASAP. On June 8 he said he would make it right. I still do not have my deposit back and he will not respond. He never did give me a reason as to why he kept saying his yard crew was coming to complete the work and they would not show up. He has not given me a reason as to why he has not refunded me my deposit. He just continues to say he will make it right and does not follow through.
