Pattern of Complaints

Based on BBB files, Alex R. Hernandez Jr. PLLC has a pattern of complaints alleging refund and customer service issues.

Specifically, consumers allege a lack of communication and services provided in regards to their cases after payment of a specific retainer fee.  Furthermore, consumers allege they have difficulties receiving a refund of their retainer fee.  

BBB has contacted Alex R. Hernandez Jr. PLLC regarding its complaints and in response Alex R. Hernandez Jr. PLLC states clients have two complimentary no-cost legal consultations prior to being sent an engagement proposal explaining how their retainer system works and that the initial retainer is non-refundable.

Alex R. Hernandez Jr. PLLC's response to BBB's pattern of complaint concerns state they have implemented adding attorneys in their firm to respond faster to clients.  They have also moved in the last five months from outsourcing their customer call center to hiring 11 internal full-time customer response agents.  

To accelerate customer responsiveness Alex R. Hernandez Jr. PLLC stated they have overhauled their call system to transfer customer calls directly to their attorney handling their case.
