I paid this company to file our taxes and they failed to do so, resulting in over $500.00 late penalty fees from the **** Their excuse was additional information was needed and 2 months after the federal tax deadline of 4/18/23 they finally got hold ** requesting the additional information required to file successfully. They did not leave any message or email whatsoever, we paid expecting it would be taken care of and went on with our lives- and it apparently did not. Could you help recommend a solution please? I've contacted the owner ******* and he said there was a "lack of communication" is this case. And then he proceeded to ignore my phone calls and emails the very next day of his excuse of "lack of communication"...LIEN ********* TAX...

In short, we tried to help the client to resolve the issue with the **** but they were not cooperative also.  On 8/11/2023... they even said, that they have move on...but then, we get this letter.  We did give them letter to send to *** for penalty waiver request. We have a very high success rate on similar case.  But we did give them the letter to sign and send to ****  They can also revised and remove one sentence from the letter.  That's fine also.

We apologize for the delay response. We have attached the letter that ***** will need to sign and send to the **** In order for the penalty to be waived, there would have to be no late returns prior to this return. If in the past there was a late return the letter will be denied, and the penalty will have to be paid. Mail the attached letter as well as a copy of the noticed you received.

No this is not because of a personal trip outside the ***. YOUR company had plenty time to get a hold of us to get the required information and did not file on time and thats itNo need to start telling lies to the *** to take blame off of your company, typical ********** ************** learned for usnever again ***************

FYI, let us do our job if you want to get this penalty waive.  If you want to take off the personal trip outside the US (which your wife did), that's fine.  It's not our responsible to chase your wife down all over the world when information was not fully provided.  We did our best to contact her but lack of information to provide to us.  So as a courtesy, we are trying to help you guys out to resolve this issue and get the penalty.  This courtesy can only go so far.  I don't want to have this same conversation again

No my friend YOUR company had OVER 2-3 weeks to get ahold of us before our ******* trip (May 15 is when we left FYI) for information and YES it is your companies obligation to get ahold of your customer to file their taxes properly. Do not try to spin this around like as a courtesy ********. We moved on already, there is no more conversation, now if you want to make this personal we can, but you dont want that trust me. Just go on with your life and we will too
