Scam. Very poorly marked parking areas near an event venue. I drove far enough away from the venue to where there were no signs that indicated the spot was restricted. Upon coming out of the event there were 50+ people waiting to have boots removed from cars. This company required $175 to remove the boot. This is clearly a scam where this company makes at least $8750 per night (50*$175) by providing insufficient signage then ambushing all who park in the lot.BBB - please advise if there is a local organization I can work with to stop this predatory behavior.

The signs are not visible at all! The people who booted our car saw us going in the bldg and said nothing to us. No warnings at all and their one sign (it's only one sign) is hidden by a tree thats not even noticeable. I would give zero stars and rate them as terrible. These people waited for customers to go in so they can boot their cars to make money because they're so money hungry. We weren't even from the area so how were we suppose to know the signs weren't visible. I would not recommend going to any of the places here because this business is waiting for the opportunity to boot your car for $100 fee to take it off. Yes we were ****** ?? because they were so ready to take your money when you came out.

At the time in which I arrived at *******************, it was dark and I had no idea that there were signs saying it was a pay to park lot. Maybe they need to invest in better lighting over the signs so it's clearer to people that it's a pay to park lot. My experience tonight has soured me from wanting to return there ever again. I'd also have preferred to give 0 stars, but that wasn't an option.

I accidently parked in a private parking lot near 38th and *********************. I saw the entry sign that stated the lot behind a restaurant was private and proceeded to what I presumed was a second lot with a single connection between the two spaces.. No signage between the two lots. Unknowingly I parked next to the Bitlocks monitor, who never said a word. An hour later, I wound up paying a very high fine to get the monitor to take off the wheel lock. I do not live in ****** and have never been to the specific business that I was visiting. If I had been the monitor, I would have made the effort, since the offending car was next to mine, to inform the driver that the lot was private.I called Bitlocks to ask what could be done to reduce the penalty. The person I tried to speak to was rude and threatening. When I suggested that common courtesy would have been the right thing to do, he stated that it was not Bitlocks job to be helpful to someone unknowingly parking in a private lot. The Bitlocks person never allowed me to fully discuss my position, but kept interrupting me. His attitude was "Tough." After two minutes, he threatened to hang up on me.While technically I deserved to be fined, the Bitlocks phone answering person should have been a wee bit more understanding and taken a two minutes of his precious time to allow me to finish my point of view. Bitlocks clearly only wants the money.
