CON ARTIST. Our initial phone conversation went very well. **** seemed to be knowledgeable and professional. I trusted that he was going to be able to complete the work, and with a standard of excellence he continued to boast of himself. For lack of space, I am going to bullet the laundry list of issues:1. No game plan presented to us and he just started laying our shower tile. He started "running" our 10" tile with a ****** piece, which is unnecessary in a stacked bond (what we asked for). Some how he landed on laying 6", 10", 10", 4". We luckily caught him before he began the rest of the shower and were able to game plan a fix so he did not have to redo the tile he already place. 2. Shower walls are crooked and don't align on either side of the tub. He blamed the contractors who were no longer working in the bathroom. The issue is he did not extend the tile far enough or level it with the backer board.3. Metal trim in niche was not cut proportionately, and corners were not mitered at 45 degrees as asked. He said that is not common and did not give us a choice. 4. Floor is not level; holes in the grout; chunks of grout lodged in corners by tub 5. Did not finish tiling the floor at door and in linen niche; said he would finish that another time (never came back; see below)6. Did not clean or seal any of the floor or shower tile; mold rapidly grew in grout lines 7. Did not grout around the top of the window in shower Took our money and never returned to finish the job. Became quite combative. Stay away from this kid and his services.
