    I am writing to formally express my concerns regarding a recent experience my partner, *******, and I had during our tour of The Mansion at Colovista on Sunday, October 20th, at 4:15 PM.During the tour, both my partner and I noticed that the manager, ***** ******, was audio recording our conversation without my partners and my consent. This not only a violation of our privacy but also made us extremely uncomfortable.When I called ***** the following day to address this concern (October 21st, 2024), she stated that the recording was for training purposes for her husband. However, it seemed that there was little focus on the venue or our vision for our wedding during the conversation.Additionally, we were disheartened by the discriminatory comments made by ***** ****** regarding our relationship as a same-sex couple. ***** expressed that if she attended our wedding (which she indicated is a tradition for the manager), she would feel deeply saddened for us due to the choice we would be making that day.Her remarks about the Bible, her relationship with God, and her religious beliefs concerning the *************** were deeply offensive to us, despite our own strong relationships with God.While I understand that everyone is entitled to their own opinions, such remarks are unacceptable and have no place in a professional setting, particularly in an industry that should be inclusive and welcoming to all couples.For the record, ***** mentioned multiple times that we would still be welcome to have our wedding at The Mansion and that she was not refusing our business. However, after being recorded without our consent and facing discriminatory comments about our relationship, the thought of having our wedding there is uncomfortable at best.
