    On 7/4/2024 I took my car into Doggett Volkswagen for an oil change. After a few weeks, I noticed an oil leak from the car. During previous inspections and oil changes, there had not been a leak until after this particular oil change. I took the car back on 8/2/2024 to get the oil leak inspected and the technicians test drive the car and noted that a leak was coming from the oil pan and oil filter housing. The technicians also noted that it was a small leak. I approved the repairs to get the leak fixed and 5 days later 8/7/2024 the part they needed came in and the technicians made the repairs. After making the repairs, the technicians test drove the vehicle and during the test drive they stated that the vehicle lost power and the battery light came on. They told me that the shop ******* went out and jumped the car to start and got it back to the dealership. The next day, they took a further look into it and deemed that the engine was locked. I met with the service manager and shop ******* and they decided to not charge me for the repairs they made but wouldnt cover the full cost of replacing the engine. They gave me a $6k quote. I took the car to another shop, Scotts Imports for a second opinion and they also deemed the engine was locked and gave me a $13k quote. The car went through inspection 2 years ago when I got the car through Volkswagen of Beaumont. At that time and every inspection after the engine was good, all the way up until repairs were made by Doggett Volkswagen. There needs to be some kind of accountability for what happened to the car while in their care.

    A fair price on an engine does not rectify the situation of the engine running fine until the technicians made repairs and took it for a test drive.

    I am writing to express my frustration and dissatisfaction with the service I received from Doggett Volkswagen. My 2021 Volkswagen Atlas was brought in due to an unexpected stalling incident, despite the fuel gauge indicating fuel was present. The service team diagnosed the issue as a collapsing fuel tank, but the necessary parts are on backorder with no estimated availability.The service advisor, **** *****, informed me that driving the vehicle could worsen the situation and recommended against it. I requested to pay for the parts upfront and obtain a loaner vehicle, but was told none were available. I was further advised by ***** that there was nothing they could do, and my request for them to check with other Doggett dealerships for a loaner went ************* an attempt to resolve the issue, I contacted every Volkswagen service center within a 200-mile radius, only to find that none had available loaner vehicles. I am extremely frustrated by the lack of support and communication from Doggett Volkswagen.This experience has left me feeling stranded and without viable options. I urgently need assistance to resolve this situation.

    When customer arrived the vehicle was diagnosed with a evap canister and fuel tank replacement needed. The parts were on back order with no *** at the time. At the time we did not have a loaner available but offered to assist with one once one became available.
