I ordered from enchanted scents last month on December 16th I placed my 1 time order from them. Now a month later I was charged $26.99 from them I want a refund because I did not make a second order. There is nothing in the website stating that this would be a subscription I ordered 5 scents from them 1 time and now I'm being charged again for nothing.Business response

Upon reviewing the details, it appears the customer had signed up for a subscription, which is why they were charged $26.99. However, we have now canceled the subscription to ensure they wont be charged moving forward.

Their website clearly states if you do not like the product they will give you a refund. I requested a refund as there was absolutely no scent to the items I received. I then received an email stating they would only refund 25 percent of the purchase amount. This is clearly false advertising and fraud.Business response

I ventured to the Enhanced Scents website from social media ads. The first popup is a solicitation to enter your email address for a discount. I entered my email address. The next pop up was a request to add mobile number to receive a greater discount. I DID NOT enter my cell phone number. I closed the window. I did add 4 items to a cart and reviewed the total and total with discount from my email code I just received, however, I did not check out. I closed the window. I did sign into Shop which is who they use for checkout. Within minutes of closing the website and NOT completing my order, someone from Enhanced Scents sent me a text message. After telling them I did not signup for text messages and asking how they got my info, ******* responded that I gave them my phone number at checkout. I did not checkout and the only way they could have received my number is from Shop. This is a gross violation of privacy. If someone does not signup for text solicitations - then they should not be contacted.Business response

Id like to clarify that we did not add the customers phone number to any marketing emails. When the customer entered their shipping address and added products to their cart but did not complete the checkout process, our system automatically sent a reminder text to the phone number and email address they provided.
If the customer wishes to have their data deleted, we are more than happy to assist with this. We will await confirmation from the customer before proceeding.

Website clearly states a 30-day risk-free trial. When contacted, business states that their policy has changed and they no longer accept returns, then offer a 25% "goodwill" refund. I found multiple complaints on trustpilot, so this practice has been happening for a while.Business response

I saw an ad for their products on social media. I visited their website and found that they claimed the product was made in the ** and they had an acceptable shipping timeline and return policy. I ordered the product on 2024.12.17. I received an email that it was shipped on 2024.12.18. I looked at the tracking info to get an idea when it would be delivered and saw that it was shipping out of *****. Then later that day I received another email claiming a shipping delay. I immediately sent an email requesting a cancelation and refund. I received a response on 2024.12.26 stating that it had already been shipped and that it couldn't be canceled but that it was "definitely" on the way. On 2024.12.28 I received an email that the shipment was "out for delivery" and would be delivered that day. On 2024.12.30 the package was delivered. I immediately sent an email for a return label, per their published return policy. I received an email today: 2025.01.02, requesting the reason for my return. I responded that though, per their own policy, it didn't matter the reason, that I didn't want a product made in ***** and that their website falsely claims the product is made in the **, it is unopened and within ************************************************** reply. I received a reply stating that they do not do returns at this time, but I could get 25% of the cost back "as a gesture of goodwill". I responded that was unacceptable. This company is operating a scam/fraud and needs to be held accountable. I want my money back, and I do not want to keep the product. I will not use it.Business response

Hello I am very disappointed about their false advertisement, I bought scents off them and it clearly stated if we are not happy with the scent we will get refunded. Well the scent is very weak and does not last longer then 5 minutes, I put in my complaint a few days after receiving it and they are telling me they can't return it because of fumes because it's perfume and offered me only 25% back. That is completely false advertisement I just took a screenshot of the website where it says if we are not happy we get refunded. I didn't pay a lot for it but shame on them, they need to remove that or be truthful that you only get 25% backCustomer response

It's false advertisement and they should change the wording. How are you suppose to know if you love the scent or not without opening the package and it states if you don't love it it's a risk free refund. It has not been risk free and frustrating. It's not a lot of money but I bought it thinking it would be no issue to return it if I didn't love the scent which didn't last more then 5 minutesCustomer response

FALSE ADVERTISEMENT, it should be worded different. Instead of If you don't love the scent Risk free returns, it should say " If you do not love the scent Keep it and get 25% back" I bought it thinking it would be easy to get my money back like it stated on the website since it's not food and perishable. Instead they are telling me I can't and I can only get 25%. I know I did not spend a lot of money on the product but I'm so tired of companies ripping people off by false advertisement and how they word things. Why be sneaky¬ honest upfront. I probably would still have bought it knowing I'm at risk if I do not like it because it says so on the website. Then I know I'm stuck with it if I don't love it so I better think twice before buying. Some places are very honest and tell you if you do not like it you need to pay for shipping yourself to return the item. I respect companies like that and I reached out to *** so they can put a stop to companies that are dishonest and help out the consumer. Even if I do not get my money back please have them change how they work "if you do not love the scent risk free returns" sorry I know the wording is a little different. I sent a pic how it says they are offering a 30day risk free trial. It has not been risk free,im risking 75% because they are only offering 25% back.Business response

I purchased some scents from their website. Their website states 30 day RISK FREE guarentee, if you don't like your RESULTS we will give you a refund. The boxes have no wrapping on them, just one does and I did not open it. I opened the ones that didn't have a clear plastic wrap and smelled them and there is almost no scent and what you can smell, it smells expired. Like the product has been sitting for a long time and it's chemical to make it smell good had gone bad. I messaged them and told them I didn't like them, I smelled them and they DIDNT touch my body and they told me that I couldn't get a refund and offered me $15 back. I accepted and a few days later looked them up again and saw their risk free ********************************************************************** about their return policy. They still refuse to give me a refund because I opened to smell them even though the first thing you see on their page is 30 DAYS RISK FREE IF YOU DONT LIKE YOUR RESULTS. That to me entices the customers to use the product to see their results and still be eligible for the refund which obviously isn't true.Business response

However, the customer subsequently filed a dispute for the same transaction, seeking another refund, which we find unfair since we have already refunded the order. The funds are currently with the customer, so we request that this case be closed.

I purchased perfume from this company on July 30, 2024. On their website, they advertise a 30-day risk free guarantee and if a customer does not love their product, they will receive a refund. On August 13, 2024 (within the 30-day period), I contacted them to let them know I was not satisfied with the product and per their advertisement, I was requesting a refund. They are now denying me a refund, saying they cannot issue a refund if the product has been opened or used. It is a perfume...you have to open it to try it. Their website clearly states their risk free offer. They are operating under fraudulent advertising to lure customers in and then refusing to honor their advertising. I would like my refund as advertised.Business response

On the companies site, it states in multiple places that they have a 30 day love it or get your money back guarantee. After receiving the product and being very disappointed with it, I asked for a refund. I was told that their policy has recently changed and that they no longer offer a refund of the full cost, only a %20 refund, even though their site still states that a full refund will be given if you are unhappy. After multiple email exchanges, I was offered a %30 refund, and a %40 refund, but never the full refund that is advertised and clearly stated on their site. I am seeking the full refund I am entitled to, and I am fully prepared to send the product back if needed.Business response
