    I find the restaurant to be very enjoyable and food to be exceptional most of the time. The owner seems very ****. May be OCD. Shes clean. My husband thinks the staff is prejudice and at times it does seem that way in treatment and portions of food items when he joins me and brings it to my attention.The prices are outrageous, but we are willing to pay for a great product when given one.On Tuesday, 22 June 2022 I made an order for pick up. My husband traveled from our home approximately 22 miles to Schoepfs to pick up the food (1 slice of brisket, two jalapeo sausages, and 1 beef rib. Additionally, 1 medium side of corn, green beans and potato salad). $83.00 total After retrieving the food and bringing it home we notice there was noabsolutely no meat on the beef rib that we had purchased for $35.00. Fat We immediately contacted the restaurant to inform them. They stated they were closing and they would take our name and number and have management call tomorrow morning.The next morning no one called. I waited until noon to call, ****** picked up the phone when I called he was the person whom I worked with the day before. He stated let me get the owner. The owner got on the phone and stated ****** will be calling you. That evening I heard from no one. I called and was told again the owner would be getting back with me.Im filing this complaint because in the past I have spent ****** on food at this establishment that was packaged incorrectly. The food was uneatable due to the way it was packaged. The owners stated then they would get back to me and did not ever take care of the issue. I was out of the funds.This time I see the buck or phone being passed with no resolution. I dont want to keep losing funds on a product thats not packaged correctly or substandard product.If the owners are not honorable enough to speak with a long time patron of their establishment then I will discontinue business with them.

    I responded to this customer and refunded their money to satisfy her issue.  We were on vacation as she was told out of town and that was the delay in responding to her.  Upon returning we immediately were made aware and refunded not because of any fault of ours or product issue but to let the customer know we wanted to meet their needs.  This was resolved a long time ago with the customer. Thanks ***************************. "

    I am rejecting this response because:

    The restaurant did not solve the complete issue.  They resolved the last issue in part which was the beef rib that was fat and no meat that they sold me by refunding those funds, but have not refunded the prior funds.  They did not solve or refund fund for the first incident that caused me to actually report them as a business that wasnt up board or transparent  with their treatment of their customers.  

    The owner called me the day of the death of my brother and was asked to please call back to discuss the issues but failed to do so.  

    the also state in their response this was not their fault.  This is not taking ownership  of their mistake it

    Is sweeping the true issue under the rug in order for the public not to see how they run there business as a whole.

     

    pkease refund me my additional funds and apology for the mistake and service that was not provided in a customer friendly manner.
