I contacted Greg's heating and air on July 11th, 2024 because our air condition was not turning on. I told the technician that came out this day that we did have some cool air coming out the day before, but if we placed the thermostat at 73 the downstairs would not cool to that temperature, it would stay at 78 or higher. They got the system back on that day. They suggested that our system would need to be replaced. The total for the repairs were $14,495.86. Workers came out on July 13th to replace the old unit and repair the duct work. The air conditioning worked for an hour that day and then stopped working. We had someone come out on Monday to check the system. The technician said the system was not fully flushed, and gave the system another flush. We noticed a few days later, the air was still not cooling downstairs like it should. If we put the thermostat at 73, the downstairs would only cool to about 78 or higher. A technician was sent out on July 18th to check the system. We told the technician that the downstairs would not cool to 73, it stays at 78 or higher. They suggested that we replace the damper. They said they would send us quotes for the cost of replacement. I contacted **** the owner by phone, because at this point I was upset that the same issue is still going on and the system was incorrectly diagnosis. I do appreciate the discounts we received, I just wish the system had been correctly diagnosed the first time. I don't think the technicians are well trained, or have any training at all. **** was very unprofessional, when speaking on the phone to him about the issue. He did offer to replace the damper, only if we sign an NDA disclosure agreement. I am not willing to sign that agreement. I as the customer believe the company is responsible for paying for the damper, since the problem was incorrectly diagnosed.

Below is a copy of the invoice

    System not cooling
Service is $99.00 once we find the problem we'll let you know before making any repairs. Same day and next day service is due on booking and is non refundable.

Found system not in operation. Found system not receiving 240v. Found disconnect pulled and flipped to off position. Plugged disconnect in correctly and system operational. Checked system capacitor, capacitor okay. Found system heavily clogged, owner made aware. Performed washout. System back in operation. Checked system charge found system to be low on  charge. System is r22 owner made aware. Owner would like quotes to replace system. System left in operation for temporary cooling. Will send quotes!

As soon as ***** told her about her system she said "no lets just replace it." ***** has been with me for 3 years and has never lied about a diagnostic.

This is true these dampers are not directly part of the air condition system nor is it part of the duct upgrade she wanted for her sons room.

On our phone call her and her husband were irate and began to attempt to belittle me and give complete disregard for anything I had to say. They both went on for a few minutes and didn't even let me talk. Then the husband started yelling at me. End of conversation. I wont deal with a person like that nor will any of my staff. I sent them a text and offered them the repairs for free and I told them in order to receive them they would need to sign an NDA which I had an attorney type for me. All she had to do was wait until Monday and we would have given her them for free. Nope not good enough she wanted to punish me in some way, She said I'm gonna complain and tell everyone what you're doing. From what I gather she's saying that I'm a scammer so now here we are. If she wants the dampers my normal rate is $750.00 each which I was gonna give her both for free, now she can pay $500 each.
