We paid this company $7,316.65 on 11/01/2022 as a down payment on doing our floors. They had told us that it would be a couple of months before they could perform the work. They kept giving us the run around every time we went by there and telling us that the supplier wasn't getting them their supplies. So my husband has gone the last 3 weeks to the location and they have closed shop and we tried calling and their voicemail box is full. The showroom is still there but the desk they had their computer on is gone. We saved up for months to give them a down payment and then this happens. The owners are ***************************, ************************* and *************************. I am so devastated that someone could do this to hard working people. I have discovered that there are more people with the same complaint I have for this business. I wish I had done my research because there are many complaints about Buda Flooring but my husband and I wanted to support a local business.

In October 2022, we signed an agreement for a bathroom remodel project and paid a 65% deposit. Our calls and texts to schedule a start date for the project were answered with "your project is next on our schedule" or we will call you next week to schedule. The only and last returned call from Buda's Flooring was on 2/3/23, when **** called to say that *************************, the owner, would call me personally on Monday, 2/6/23, to schedule the start date. Monday came and went with no contact. Calls and texts to the business went to voicemail and unanswered. The store has been closed and locked since then. We have no way to contact the company or owners for a refund of our deposit. The amount is just over the small claims jurisdictional limit, leaving us few options.

10/24/2022 Initial contact for estimate/scope project of painting kitchen cabinets and replacing flooring throughout entire house 11/2/2022 estimate $17,868.12, provided downpayment $4868.12 and signed contract. Told needed to provide entire amount of project before could be scheduled 11/5/2022 paid balance of $13,000.I was told a project time of 6-8 weeks, which would have put me around January 5, 2023. Numerous phone calls to the scheduler at ************ were met with various reasons as to why my project could not be scheduled, if the call was answered at all. I texted *************************, sales rep, and threatened to cancel my contract due to lack of communication. Shortly after that, my cabinets were scheduled and subsequently painted on Feb 3-5 2023. Attempted to call office Feb. 6-8 2023, left message with a *****, who was "just answering the phone" and received no phone call back. ************************* is not responding to my texts either. No one is at the business. Yelp is showing the business as "closed". Website is now listed as "private". At this point not sure if this is even a BBB case or a case of fraud/theft.

I had floors installed February 2022. It was a fast and furious install with many errors. They came back to try to fix the errors. I was told the floor just needed to settle. 8/28/22 I sent a text Buda flooring. The floors still lifted up since the installers did not level the subfloor so parts of the flooring were warping and coming apart. There is also a chip in a corner from poor instillation. We were still waiting on the extra material and the door transitions. She told me she would schedule a service call the next day. Nothing ever happened.9/15/22 I sent another text to **** Flooring with no reply 9/22/22 I sent another text to Buda Flooring asking for an update. I finally got a reply saying to call the scheduling. I called the store and spoke with someone new and kept getting the run around. I was told they hadn't gotten any request and they would talk to ****** and get me on the schedule.10/25/22 I sent a message via ******** to the company to try to get someone to contact me after multiple voicemails.11/10/22 someone came out to fix my flooring. He said that due to the poor installation half my downstairs needed to be replaces to fix the cupping, chip, and lifted flooring.11/10/22 Buda Flooring came out to look at the flooring and promised to make it right. The flooring was on back order until December so I the apt to fix it would be **** 1/6/23 I texted Buda Flooring asking if the material arrived. They replied they thinks so and they would verify with Scheduling. 1/24/23 I sent a text asking when my floor would be fixed. And was told there person handling this was on medical leave but she was still working on it. She said she would contact the partners about my message. 2/13/23 I sent a follow up ******** message, voicemail, and text to try to figure out what in going on. At this point I would like a refund. They can come and get all the flooring they didn't properly install. I have videos of the lifting. Please help me.

This is the email I sent to them last week due not hearing from anyone from the store. This issue has been on going since last year in March. I was informed by a lady named ****** who was our customer representative. She told us originally that It would take about a month until we could get scheduled, but that was a lie. We didn't get scheduled until July because I reached out multiple times.. They did not finish the job! Good afternoon, To whom it may concern, I would like to write out a formal complaint about this location. I do not know what to do any more. Long story but March 24th 2022, I went into this store to make a purchase to get all my flooring done in my house.after multiple trips to the store. 50+ phone call and 50+ text messages with ******. I was finally put on the schedule to get something done in July, but the work was not completed. I still have my whole upstairs that has yet to be done which has prevented me from putting my house on the market or doing anything there. I was informed by ************************* multiple times that someone was going to call, in which no one did. I was the one making the phone calls, driving multiple times to the store to get this resolved. I even spoke to ****** ( I apologize if I misspelled her name ) She suppoedly put me on the schedule to get something done in which no one called or showed up. I either want my money back for that additional portion of my house to get done or I need this to be done this month! I have waited so so long and there has been no compensation, no apologies. I just have received empty promises. I have emails and text messages as proof to show the communication that has taken place. This is completely unacceptable, I mean almost A WHOLE YEAR, 365 days to get my floors done??!! It does not make any sense and I decided to go here to support a small business and this is what I get in return?I would like someone to call me asap to resolve this issue. *********************************** ************

We signed a contract for bathroom remodels on 7/12/2022, paying a deposit of $15,322.68, 65% down. The work was promised to be done in August. We also added carpeting of two bedrooms on 12/23/2022 , and paid a deposit of $2,230.49 on 12/23/2022. The bath remodel started January 18th (6 months after deposit) - this was after multiple emails, texts and follow *** to get a date set. They replaced the bath surround tile, and the floor tile in Bathroom 1. On Jan. 19th, '23, they requested a progress payment of $4,100.00, which we paid. The bath was unusable, with no toilet, no shower and the base boards not replaced. After complaining about the progress payment and nothing else done, they sent a plumber to our home the evening of Jan 27th to install the toilet. Another plumber came the evening of Jan. 30th '23 to install the shower faucets. He worked 2 hours, but it didn't fit right and is still not finished and unable to be used. The demo trash sat in our front yard until February 4th '23. This was after multiple calls, texts and emails asking them to remove it. Buda Flooring sent someone out Friday, Jan. 27th '23 to help us finish choosing the vanities and paint color to begin the second bathroom remodel. She sent the information to the owner to order. We have tried multiple times to contact the owner via phone, and going to the place of business. There are no calls returned and no contact has been made with us to update us or move forward with completion. Our dispute is that a large amount of money has been paid, small amount of work on 1st bath; still incomplete, and a full second bath remodel with nothing started. The lack of communication and response to our requests, has pushed us to this point to report. One important note, we made clear that we were preparing to move in March 2023. We have not been able to get our home on the market due to incomplete work. The Project # for the remodel is *****; the project # for the carpet is also *****.

Buda Flooring received our deposit to remodel two bathrooms, re-floor the upstairs and re-do kitchen countertops and backsplash nine months ago. ****** said that work would start in late June and finish in July or August. They started in September and still haven't even completed the first bathroom. That is four months without a master bathroom. Most of the work is either incorrect or poor ************* they have all but abandoned the project. No-one has been here in over a month. We have asked when work will resume with no answer.

We have had material issues with our vendor that have come in incomplete or came in wrong. We have been in communication with the vendor and this client regarding these issues. The vendors have confirmed the materials have been ordered correctly and are on the way. We have been in touch with the Courtneys multiple times. For example, I spoke with ********************* in detail about their complaints on 1/17/2023 at lunch time. We also had our installer there on 1/17/2023 around 1PM to look at the "punch list" items and to move forward with the work. I spoke with ********************* again 1/18/2023 at 10AM to ensure we are on the same page with the work. We are actively working to correct all issues with this.
