    *************** a brand new macbook pro they offered me $1,400 I paid extra shipping insurance they ended up receiving the laptop and saying they had a crack and only offered me a hundred bucks they ended up taking my laptop to Apple which I had ********** Plus and try to get the screen fixed but didn't have the right credential now they are blocked my number and will not call me back

    1GuyGadget is a reputable business that will continue to serve honest clients and punish fraudsters who attempt to defraud ** in any way.

    Our true clients understand our business model and this is why we have glowing reviews. 1Guygadget buy electronics from sellers all over *****************. Fraudsters like this plaintiff fail to realize that we are the buyers/consumers, fully protected by the consumer laws of *****************. 

    The plaintiff was dishonest when describing the condition of the laptop he intended to sell to us. Few hours after submitting the dishonest offer request, he called us specifically asking sketchy questions about how our mail-in insurance worked. we took note. 

    When the laptop arrived at our location, we discovered that the screen was broken and non functional. We immediately alerted the plaintiff and informed him that the offer would be revised given the true condition of the laptop that was received. He claimed he had evidence that everything worked before we mailed it. We asked for the evidence and he sent us a fake image (picture attached). We took note.

    Given  that he also gave us a fake name, we took the laptop in to the Apple Store to ensure that it was not stolen. Apple informed us that the laptop was locked to an Apple ID. This seller also failed to disclose this information when he requested the offer. Taken this new information into account, we decided to fully enforce our business policy. As clearly written in our terms and condition of service, attempted fraud will be reported to the the police.

    This person continue to lie in his attempt to steal money from us. He claims that he paid for extra insurance. What he fails to understand that till this point, 1GuyGadget has paid for everything. We paid for the free shipping label that he used to mail in the device. We paid for the additional insurance which he thought he could exploit. We have filed a case of fraud against him with the police.
